Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Best extender that I’ve tried in my network. I bought 2 of these extenders because I have over 4000 sq ft to cover and I need ethernet ports in each location. They resolved my dropout issues for high end high resolution music streaming. I highly recommend AX80 extender.

The latest netgear cable modem router combo CAX80 is a superb player in delivering excellent speeds and performance. I have a gigabit internet but never have seen the full potential of it with my previous modems. Switching to CAX80 made me realize how blazingly fast internet speeds could be. So I strongly recommend this router for people who want to take advantage of their full internet speeds. Only issue I see is the Nighthawk app responds slow while enabling and disabling the network access for devices from the app. Otherwise the device overall is an excellent purchase.

Pricey but you get what you pay for. Can handle multiple devices streaming videos and gaming all at once. My household definitely has over 12 devices connected at once and after getting the AX12 router it made a significant difference in speed and ranger. Very good router.
