Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

I have a RAX35 that with best placement covers about 4,000 sq ft, but the signal is at one to two bars on either side of the house. I bought one EAX80 and plan to buy a second. So far, it has worked great at boosting the signal inside the house and provides great connection outside of the house.

Love WiFi 6 but most of my devices operate on WiFi 5 so not getting much of advantage until I upgrade other devices. Most of my 2.4Ghz devices are not even available in WiFi 6 yet.

EASY TO FIRE UP. CALLED NETGEAR ANSWERED QUICK AND WALKED ME THROUGH EVERYTHING. NO PROBLEMS SO FAR, HAVE HAD FOR ABOUT 45 DAYS. SMOOTH OPERATION. CLEAN AND POWERFUL. ALSO LOOKS COOL. BETTER LONG RANGE THAN MY NIGHTHAWK ROUTER WITH THE ANTENNA TOO!!! WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I was using a Netgear R8000 and was experiencing issues of random multiple daily reboots with upgraded firmwares. Resorted to older firmwares which cut it down to once a day. Changed to the RAX120 and it has been great. Speed and reach are better and it has been up for a week without so much as a hiccup!!
