Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Setup was extremely easy with the Nighthawk app. The modem/router combo works very well with my Internet provider. It is very fast and has not disconnected at all since setup. I believe this Netgear Nighthawk is the best internet tool I have purchased…. I love it!

We had trouble keeping a stable connection with multiple smart home devices until now. Best modem/router money can buy. Our internet was not only more secure and stable, but it actually got faster. We were only getting 500-600mb/s now we get what we pay for 900-1000mb/s. Best part about it all is that I don’t have to pay rental fees for ISP devices anymore, so it’ll pay itself off eventually. 10 out of 10. 5 stars every day of the week.

This router has been nothing but trouble. While it may work for a bit, you will encounter dropped connections and slow speeds. I have tried numerous configurations and resets. NETGEAR support is basically useless and will only give you a runaround on what should be an excellent product out of the box. Look elsewhere.
