Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

The EAX80 works as intended. I bought this unit to boost my WiFi in other parts of my house that where getting a weak signal. It not only did that but can now get WiFi around my property, which is about 1 acre.

This modem router is so easy to set up and it’s so fast. I read a review that this router registers download speeds of 350Mbps for a plan of 300Mbps. I didn’t believe it until I saw that with my own eyes(I signed up for 300Mbps plan with Comcast) Even the cable technician was surprised by that. This is a great modem and won’t disappoint you. I highly recommend this modem router. The price is a little high but it’s worth it.
