Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Quick simple install to modem. Setup is streamlined with the Nighthawk mobile app. Quick and easy. Performance is great, no dead zones even through two floors into my garage. I would definitely recommend this product, thank you Netgear!

I like that did not have to add my Wi-Fi password to my over 100 network devices by keeping the same name and password with this router.

We are pretty impressed with this router modem combo. Our old device was very slow couldnt handle our upgraded Internet speed, so we had to make the switch. I hope that will keep this one for a long time.

I bought the nighthawk because I needed extended coverage upstairs. It fixed all of the dropout issues I was experiencing plus it extended the range of my WiFi out past my pool.

I use this extender at my office/plant. Easy set up with my phone app. Nice product.

I’ve tried others before, this one blows them all away! Best range and continuity you can find. Covers everything inch of the house with high speed WiFi…and the garage, driveway, snd back yard!

I have used literally every other brand router and finally broke down, bought the AX8. We can stream 3 ROKU’s, 2 iPhones and 2 iPads SIMULTANEOUSLY and never lose speed. When I upgraded our internet service to 1,000/1,000 last week, the FiOS installer said he’s never seen a router get such high speeds on all devices at the same time. He said he was stopping to buy one on his way home that night! Seriously, with everything running simultaneously, the Test Speeds are 875-Download & 938-Upload. The FiOS installer also said that it is already set for when FiOS upgrades their internet to 2.4+ Gbs next year, will not need to be replaced as it will handle it just as well as it does 1Gbs right now. Highly recommend this unit! It may be pricey, but you certainly will NOT regret the investment (especially if you’re using FiOS internet).

I had moved to an apartment about a year ago and the internet wasn’t bad BUT I could barely get the signal. After much research I went with the EAX80 because I liked the 4 ethernet ports. It was perfect for my Playstation, PC, and MCell tower for cell service. The difference is NIGHT and DAY and feels like I’m connected directly to the landlords router. Love this device and will gladly use it at the next apartment if needed

Love the router, very fast and sleek design. Wish was a tad bit cheaper though.

We had a struggling network set up in our 4 bedroom home. About 20 devices are connected and 2-4 people trying to stream at the same time. Network congestion was a real pain. I didn’t know anything about wifi 6 until we were looking to replace our dying old router. The ability for our router to talk to several devices at the same time, has definitely helped congestion. Also, the 5Ghz signal can actually be used in the far corner of our house where previously the signal was too weak. We are very happy with our purchase, even if it is one of the pricier routers we’ve ever bought. In comparison to other wifi 6 routers on the market, the value seems right with this one.

Picked up this device to replace a standard XB6 modemrouter from Comcast. This unit is noticably faster and has a significantly more stable connection in all places in our house.

Twice the router stopped working and needed to be factory reset and reconfigured. More than three times the router automatically powercycled kicking everyone off. I got on with tech support to do some advanced custom changes to the configuration, so we’ll see whether that helps. So far my experience has been abysmal.

It’s just what we needed. We had a net gear router that broke with an update but we had it for about six years so it was time for an upgrade.

More than up to date. This Netgear Nighthawk will be the next big thing.

Tries a few different modems and routers and modem/router combos. This cax80 performed the best internet connection speeds for my video game consoles using xfinity 1 gig service. Definitely a must buy.

Setup is easy and simple. Looks like a household decoration.

My provided router was not enough to reach and manage several devices in the household. This router manages several devices and streams to effectively manage a 1gps system.
