Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

We love our Netgear Nighthawk Modem and Router, so far. It was very easy to setup and you can edit the name and password that are provided. You can test your connection and speed from within the Netgear app and so far we have not had any problems connecting the many devices we have. Although the initial cost seems high, you will pay more than that to rent one from your cable company over the course of your agreement with them.

This cable modem was super easy to install. It was plug and play. For a basic user the tabs in the app are all that you need but for a more experienced user log into the router and its all there. Great speed and its everything I asked for in a cable modem.
