Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

I live in a close or off the grid area where cell service is unavailable. I have a fiber input to my home and the 3500 radius is incredible. My old Netgear I barely got service at points in my house. Now I am comfortable in the woods directly behind my home and still getting enough service to use the internet.

We live in an area where Wi-Fi can be spotty so we have always had issues finding a good extender. We’ve tried EERO, Orbi, Xfinity Pods, and multiple others but none seemed to work and it was always a hassle. This extender was not only easy to setup but has made everything in the house run faster, and with ZERO issues. I will only be buying NETGEAR solutions from now on.
