Capable of throughput up to 6,000 Mb/s, the Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 Wi-Fi Router from Netgear supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a wireless standard that allows for faster Wi-Fi speeds, more simultaneous upload and download streams, and greater energy efficiency for battery-powered wireless clients than previous Wi-Fi standards.
Equipped with four internal antennas, five 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet LAN port, one 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet WAN port, and a pair of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, the Wi-Fi 6-enabled Nighthawk AX8 AX6000 supports OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) and multi-user MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) to deliver faster and more reliable Wi-Fi connections compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). The router also boasts a Smart Connect feature that selects the best Wi-Fi band for your devices, allowing for a single network name for both wireless bands, as well as voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

It runs and sends the signal very far and fast. No lagging or any major issues of any kind. Everything can be changed through the nighthawk app. It’s just a little finicky with the app rarely but nothing major.

Best modem/router combo out there. I’m not a networking expert, so the instructions need to clarify that to get 160mhz bandwidth, you need to set your 5G channel to 36-48.

Household coverage is great. Everything runs smoothly. Set up was a royal pain. It was an easy activation with cable but the WiFi setup was not easy for some reason. Once it was finally set up it works great.

I was having xfinity connection issues. Everything would work fine – until just stopped working. Rebooting the router (10 minutes) would be only thing that resolved. Tried replacing with new xfinity router – no luck. Bought this router. The problem has gone away.

This is my second Nighthawk router. Previously I used R8000. I wanted to get AX11000 but it was already sold out. Got this one instead.Overall great router. Easy and quick setup. Management interface should be a bit quicker.
