Help ensure that your home is fully covered by high-speed wireless network access with the Orbi AX4200 Wireless Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear. This Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) mesh system includes a router and one satellite that are each designed with six high-powered antennas to provide up to 1800 Mb/s of bandwidth to connected devices through the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, covering up to 5000 square feet. A dedicated 5 GHz connection allows the Orbi router and satellite to transfer data to each other at up to 2400 Mb/s. In total, that’s about 4x the speed of 802.11ac, delivering smooth 4K video streaming and online gaming experiences. The router has three Gigabit Ethernet ports, while the satellite has two, allowing you to connect wired devices such as smart TVs, game consoles, computers, and more. Use the Orbi app to quickly configure and manage the devices, including setting up a guest network login. You can also use Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to issue voice commands.

I bought the Orbi base on really positive reviews. I had an eero mesh system for the last 3 years. It was time to update since I have a gigablast plan with my internet provider and the eero wasn’t compatible since I got the first edition.I decided to go with netgear this time since I’ve always use their modems. I am so glad that I switch to Orbi. I never have drops or slow speeds.

This router, with the 2 satellites, was super easy to install and connect all of our devices to! We used to only be able to connect to the wifi if we were near the original single router, but we put the two satellites on the second floor and have ZERO issues connecting now! Approximately 20 devices are connected at any given time over a 3000sqft range with no connectivity problems and no dropped signals.

This system, is much much better, then either Google mesh, or Eero. I had both and this is definitely better. At least, in my opinion. I’m having much stronger signals, to my security system and other devices. Much better TV streaming signal. Finally, a Wi-Fi system, that actually works, as advertised.

The reason I bought this is because of my oled 4k tv streaming on internet was freezing or slow. Yes it has improved with the Orbi system and the quality of the picture finally looks like it should. But still the price is a bit to high.
