Help ensure that your home is fully covered by high-speed wireless network access with the Orbi AX4200 Wireless Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear. This Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) mesh system includes a router and one satellite that are each designed with six high-powered antennas to provide up to 1800 Mb/s of bandwidth to connected devices through the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, covering up to 5000 square feet. A dedicated 5 GHz connection allows the Orbi router and satellite to transfer data to each other at up to 2400 Mb/s. In total, that’s about 4x the speed of 802.11ac, delivering smooth 4K video streaming and online gaming experiences. The router has three Gigabit Ethernet ports, while the satellite has two, allowing you to connect wired devices such as smart TVs, game consoles, computers, and more. Use the Orbi app to quickly configure and manage the devices, including setting up a guest network login. You can also use Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to issue voice commands.

The Mesh Wifi 6 router is great although we had a glitch when setting it up. I changed the factory default for the network name and password while going through the initial setup. We were not able to get connected. We then did a factory reset and ran through the initial setup again keeping the factory default name and password. After we connected, I then when through the process to change the Network name and password. This time it worked great.

I bought this to make sure I have great coverage. All over my new home. I did have to buy a switch to even make it talk to my fiber internet provider, which I didn’t have to do with my previous Wi-Fi router. I pay for above average internet speed because I’m working from home all the time now and we have others that use the bandwidth as well. There have been a few times my computer tells me my internet is unstable despite the fact that there is a satellite less than 20 ft away.
