Help ensure that your home is fully covered by high-speed wireless network access with the Orbi AX4200 Wireless Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear. This Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) mesh system includes a router and one satellite that are each designed with six high-powered antennas to provide up to 1800 Mb/s of bandwidth to connected devices through the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, covering up to 5000 square feet. A dedicated 5 GHz connection allows the Orbi router and satellite to transfer data to each other at up to 2400 Mb/s. In total, that’s about 4x the speed of 802.11ac, delivering smooth 4K video streaming and online gaming experiences. The router has three Gigabit Ethernet ports, while the satellite has two, allowing you to connect wired devices such as smart TVs, game consoles, computers, and more. Use the Orbi app to quickly configure and manage the devices, including setting up a guest network login. You can also use Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to issue voice commands.

Upgraded our Wi-Fi mesh system from an older Google Nest system. Recently moved into a house made of stone and brick and the old system just really wasn’t cutting it. I had heard good things about the Orbi system from friends as well as in multiple online reviews. I decided take the plunge and got a router with two satellites. It’s the ax4200 system. Immediately our speeds in certain parts of the house went from 30mbps to over 150 to 200Mbps. I was amazed. This was definitely worth the plunge and the splurge to get better wifi coverage throughout the house

I didn’t really stop to think about how many things use WiFi in our home. Turns out it’s 17 so far. Orbi shows you what you have using each of the satellites and router. Satellites can have Ethernets plugged into them too. Nice convenience. Get them, I wish I would have sooner!

The wireless speed anywhere is right at the alleged purchased speed . Seriously impressed. My only concern is the amount of connected devices. 40 or up to? Combined over main access vs guest ? Not sure. I haven’t opted to stay on hold to get the answer. May have to upgrade to the 100 system. As far is the pros’ simple to setup and the functionality is awesome
