Help ensure that your home is fully covered by high-speed wireless network access with the Orbi AX4200 Wireless Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear. This Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) mesh system includes a router and one satellite that are each designed with six high-powered antennas to provide up to 1800 Mb/s of bandwidth to connected devices through the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, covering up to 5000 square feet. A dedicated 5 GHz connection allows the Orbi router and satellite to transfer data to each other at up to 2400 Mb/s. In total, that’s about 4x the speed of 802.11ac, delivering smooth 4K video streaming and online gaming experiences. The router has three Gigabit Ethernet ports, while the satellite has two, allowing you to connect wired devices such as smart TVs, game consoles, computers, and more. Use the Orbi app to quickly configure and manage the devices, including setting up a guest network login. You can also use Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to issue voice commands.

Setup did not go as well as I would have hoped. The app was not working correctly on my phone. I did the set up by IP address. The armor security interfered with my TVs streaming. Turning it off resolved that problem. Overall now that it is set up, I love it because the coverage and the speed are outstanding!

No issues with setup using a wired backhaul configuration. Signal strength is much better than the Negear router I was using previously. No issues with dropout or disconnects. No negatives that I have seen so far.

I have installed Orbi mesh networks in my two homes, plus helped a friend install one also. All were easy installs and outperform every other Wi-Fi system I have installed. In most homes there are dead-spots caused by microwaves, refrigerators, TVs, and building infrastructure. The Orbi mesh network eliminates all such dead spots, plus the dedicated back haul channel frees up bandwidth for fantastic whole house screaming fast internet. Thank you Netgear!

Problem was I was changing my network name during the set up process which it allows but it causes a problem so I called support and he walked me through step by step and told me to wait to change my network name until after I was completely set up. He staying on the phone the entire time and was really nice about it.
