Help ensure that your home is fully covered by high-speed wireless network access with the Orbi AX4200 Wireless Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear. This Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) mesh system includes a router and one satellite that are each designed with six high-powered antennas to provide up to 1800 Mb/s of bandwidth to connected devices through the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, covering up to 5000 square feet. A dedicated 5 GHz connection allows the Orbi router and satellite to transfer data to each other at up to 2400 Mb/s. In total, that’s about 4x the speed of 802.11ac, delivering smooth 4K video streaming and online gaming experiences. The router has three Gigabit Ethernet ports, while the satellite has two, allowing you to connect wired devices such as smart TVs, game consoles, computers, and more. Use the Orbi app to quickly configure and manage the devices, including setting up a guest network login. You can also use Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to issue voice commands.

I have Orbi system with 2 satellites that is supposed to cover 7500 square feet. I put the router and 1 satellite in the house and another satellite in my detached garage. I have service everywhere. My wifi cameras only work on 2.4g and they connected with no issue and without me having to select a band. My garage cameras/DVR system plugged into the satellite with no issue and I had immediate access to thise cameras as well. Remember there are 3 Id/pw combos you’ll need to remember and keep straight. 1 for the Orbi app, 1 for admin account of the router and 1 for you actually wifi (comes with default but you can change). If you add a quest account, then that will be a 4th I’d/pw to remember. Orbi walks you through it all. You can easily turn on parental controls too if desired. This system is a strong buy!
