Help ensure that your home is fully covered by high-speed wireless network access with the Orbi AX4200 Wireless Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear. This Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) mesh system includes a router and one satellite that are each designed with six high-powered antennas to provide up to 1800 Mb/s of bandwidth to connected devices through the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, covering up to 5000 square feet. A dedicated 5 GHz connection allows the Orbi router and satellite to transfer data to each other at up to 2400 Mb/s. In total, that’s about 4x the speed of 802.11ac, delivering smooth 4K video streaming and online gaming experiences. The router has three Gigabit Ethernet ports, while the satellite has two, allowing you to connect wired devices such as smart TVs, game consoles, computers, and more. Use the Orbi app to quickly configure and manage the devices, including setting up a guest network login. You can also use Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to issue voice commands.

Had ASUS ZenWifi XT8. Just couldn’t keep satellite connected, seeming an issue for some. Replaced with Orbi and, so far, it’s been quick and stable.

I have a large household with numerous streaming devices and gaming consoles to pc. I was rocking the spektrum Wi-Fi 6 modem for awhile and this along with the satellite really provided me the extra coverage and speed. Highly recommend if you have a larger home, lots of devices, and want consistent speed and greater range.

It’s been great so far and even increased my current speed. Signal throughout the house has been nice.

We got the router with 2 satellites to replace a different mesh system. This covers our 5 bedroom house and all the way out to our fire pit (which is about 100′ from the satellite). We get great coverage and speeds. I like the app to monitor devices and speed. Set up was not as easy as others but customer service was very helpful and patient.

So far my Orbi Mesh system is working fine and I{m having no problems streaming any movies from any app. I have 3 floors and placed one on the 3rd floor and one on the 1st floor and it works fine. We’ll see how it is in about 6 months to a year from now.

I was having way more trouble with our Nighthawk router and extender than I cared for and went searching for a better option. It was between the Orbi system or an Asus router, and I’m so glad I stuck with the Orbi. Working from home in IT and having an unstable connection at time was embarrassing, but this system is a game changer. Would highly recommend for any type of user, easy to set up, and haven’t had an issue since.

What a difference the Orbi Whole home system made in my 4500 sq ft house. I went from an average of 65 mbps to 673 mbps. Incredible easy setup and 10X the speed.

Purchase the Orbi after having issues with my Nighthawk XR500 and had a few dead spots. After upgrading to the Orbi it took care of all the dead spots we had and has been working great.

Initially I had trouble setting this up, the satellites were not behaving as they should, devices tethered to them had quite slow internet speeds, but after restarting the process and spending quite a while updating the firmware, they now behave quite well. My original intention for this system was to gain some much needed additional range for my home alarm/security system and it works beautifully for that purpose. I have had a great deal of success with them in that regard. Solid internet speeds and connections for my other devices is an added bonus. Overall I’d say a mesh wifi has been a worthwhile upgrade to my home. It’s nice having good coverage everywhere without manually needing to switch wifi networks. Internet speeds are solid, I have gigabit fiber service and at the furthest extremities of my coverage I am getting relatively solid speeds of anywhere from 200-450 mbps up/down. Overall I’d say I recommend this, it works very well, maybe not a miracle worker as far as setup or satellite speeds goes, but at this price it is most certainly a worthwhile investment if you’re struggling with wifi range and want the convenience of only one network for your home.

Mesh router works amazing. 2 adults and 5 kids all using devices for streaming and gaming. System keeps up with everything without a problem.

I have a gigabit connection thru Verizon. Using Ethernet connected Orbi router in AP mode. Upstairs on other side of house I have The Satellite set up and I have gotten a wi-fi speed of ~800 on my iPhone about ten feet away from satellite. Super easy to set up too!

I had a dead spot in the area I work from home. This definitely helped as my wifi does not constantly drop. Would definitely recommend to anyone that has wifi problems. Supper easy to set up. Had it up and working within 5 minutes.

We previously had two ASUS routers combined for a “mesh” system. I was never able to the speeds we pay for and it got bad enough that it was interfering with my job. Internet would drop randomly and yet the routers showed everything as being fine. Switched to the Orbi with one main router and two satellites and I’m now getting the speed we pay for and better at times. More consistent and less issues. We love it.
