Help ensure that your home is fully covered by high-speed wireless network access with the Orbi AX4200 Wireless Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear. This Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) mesh system includes a router and one satellite that are each designed with six high-powered antennas to provide up to 1800 Mb/s of bandwidth to connected devices through the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, covering up to 5000 square feet. A dedicated 5 GHz connection allows the Orbi router and satellite to transfer data to each other at up to 2400 Mb/s. In total, that’s about 4x the speed of 802.11ac, delivering smooth 4K video streaming and online gaming experiences. The router has three Gigabit Ethernet ports, while the satellite has two, allowing you to connect wired devices such as smart TVs, game consoles, computers, and more. Use the Orbi app to quickly configure and manage the devices, including setting up a guest network login. You can also use Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to issue voice commands.

The set up and configuration was not easy. I needed technical help. I have been using it for less than a week and will monitor it. Looks ok so far. I have McAfee for my device, but not clear how Armor security helps on top of it.

Netgear has hit one out of the park with this system. I replaced my Spectrum cable router with The Orbi WiFI 6 system what a difference. The new Orbi Router is 4 or 6 times faster than the old Cable router. Speed, Stability and Easy Set UP is what you will get with the NETGEAR system. I highly recommend it. Well worth the cost!

I do love my new Orbi Mesh system. My setup includes one router and one satellite. Overall, I noticed improve speeds and extended coverage within my house. Additionally, the system is able to adequately support all of my Wi-Fi devices. My smart devices are consistently connected and no longer experiencing intermittent issues. My only negative experience was setup. My initial attempt fail. That evening I spent close to two hours trying to set up my router using the app, following instructions to the letter. I even really gave up, and set up my old sister for the rest of the evening. The following morning I gave the Orbi Mesh one final setup attempt, and it went smoothly without a hitch. I didn’t do anything different, so I’m not certain what the problem was the evening prior. I took off one star for this reason alone. I’m happy with my purchase.

I have been a long-time owner of Netgear products starting back with the Nighthawk chain. I had a router R6900P which served me well for the past few years but I was looking for a 2-piece mesh system to get better 5G coverage. The Nighthawk was great but wanted to simplify management for my 20 devices as well as incorporate better parental controls. When I set up the Orbi system the whole house has 5G coverage plus I got extended coverage out to our kids bus stop some 200 ft away which was not expected.
