Help ensure that your home is fully covered by high-speed wireless network access with the Orbi AX4200 Wireless Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear. This Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) mesh system includes a router and one satellite that are each designed with six high-powered antennas to provide up to 1800 Mb/s of bandwidth to connected devices through the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, covering up to 5000 square feet. A dedicated 5 GHz connection allows the Orbi router and satellite to transfer data to each other at up to 2400 Mb/s. In total, that’s about 4x the speed of 802.11ac, delivering smooth 4K video streaming and online gaming experiences. The router has three Gigabit Ethernet ports, while the satellite has two, allowing you to connect wired devices such as smart TVs, game consoles, computers, and more. Use the Orbi app to quickly configure and manage the devices, including setting up a guest network login. You can also use Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to issue voice commands.

I just installed the WIFI 6 Orbi in my home and it worked perfectly. I have one router plus one satellite and it covers my whole home that is 1500 sq ft plus the backyard. All my Amazon echo dots and intelligent devices are working fine. I had my doubts at beginning but it is really working with no problems and it was easy to set up. I do recommend this model.

Purchased the Orbi mesh WiFi to expand coverage to the various parts of my home. It is currently sitting behind a firewall, but had no trouble getting the ports bound into a 2 gig link aggregation for server media sharing. Just remember, you need a switch capable of doing this. Ultimately, you might not notice a huge difference in your WAN speeds, unless you have some insane fiber ISP speeds, but LAN traffic is where you get that bang for the buck.

Only dislike is that there is not a continuous light indicator of the status of the unit. The light system turns off after it is operating. Pleased overall with the unit.

Was hesitant about purchasing a mesh wifi system but I was desperate because the wifi in my house was so bad. After getting help from Netgear, I was able to set this up and now I have fast wifi through the house. Setup was easy but I had a hard time disabling the internet because my provider makes it difficult since I have a router/cable combo. I can even plug in my gaming laptop in the satellite to get even faster internet. Can’t recommend this enough.

Best upgrade I’ve done. I’ve run an older Orbi system for years and with smart home features being more prominent an upgrade to the ax4200 was ideal. I would have loved to get the AX7500 but I was unable to afford it at the time. Maybe one day I’ll get it. All in all can’t go wrong with Orbi in my humblest opinio.

Got the RBR750 Wifi 6 as the internet service speed supports 400 MBPS. Speed is not consistent at tests done various days.
