Help ensure that your home is fully covered by high-speed wireless network access with the Orbi AX4200 Wireless Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear. This Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) mesh system includes a router and one satellite that are each designed with six high-powered antennas to provide up to 1800 Mb/s of bandwidth to connected devices through the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, covering up to 5000 square feet. A dedicated 5 GHz connection allows the Orbi router and satellite to transfer data to each other at up to 2400 Mb/s. In total, that’s about 4x the speed of 802.11ac, delivering smooth 4K video streaming and online gaming experiences. The router has three Gigabit Ethernet ports, while the satellite has two, allowing you to connect wired devices such as smart TVs, game consoles, computers, and more. Use the Orbi app to quickly configure and manage the devices, including setting up a guest network login. You can also use Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to issue voice commands.

I penned several hours aside when I opened the box to install these, and then discovered that Orbi could be installed via their App. The set up procedure was incredibly simple, and fast. From opening the box, to google searching was no more than 30 minutes, most of this time was spent checking for updates on the firmware. Now being a user, incredibly fast and am appreciating the new wifi 6 speed. I said to my wife, surely there has to be more to do as our initial set up literally took hours, and constant re-reading of instructions and eventually having to call the service provider to get their assistance. Would thoroughly recommend.

I used to live in a house with built in cat-6 cabling but moved into a house where that wasn’t possible. Then I made the switch to mesh routers and Orbi. My original system was great, but my one story house is not great for mesh routers: it has a lot of windows and it has a center courtyard which creates some serious interference on signals. My old Orbi system did great, but I did not always get great coverage with three satellites and a router. Some rooms stayed around 50% signal. So then I buy the Wi-Fi 6 system. It’s been great! I actually have just a router and two satellites and get perfect signal throughout. Wi-Fi 6 is much more responsive, and better designed for multiple devices. In short I could not be happier.
