Help ensure that your home is fully covered by high-speed wireless network access with the Orbi AX4200 Wireless Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear. This Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) mesh system includes a router and one satellite that are each designed with six high-powered antennas to provide up to 1800 Mb/s of bandwidth to connected devices through the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, covering up to 5000 square feet. A dedicated 5 GHz connection allows the Orbi router and satellite to transfer data to each other at up to 2400 Mb/s. In total, that’s about 4x the speed of 802.11ac, delivering smooth 4K video streaming and online gaming experiences. The router has three Gigabit Ethernet ports, while the satellite has two, allowing you to connect wired devices such as smart TVs, game consoles, computers, and more. Use the Orbi app to quickly configure and manage the devices, including setting up a guest network login. You can also use Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to issue voice commands.

I was worried about the difficulty of setting a mesh router up because I’ve never had one. I bought a different router that wasn’t a mesh router but was having signal problems in my house. You don’t need to be a tech geek to get the orbi to work. The orbi setup is straight forward and was up and running within minutes of connecting everything. Their app is also user friendly and I appreciate that. Getting the security going was also easy. I’ve had no signal problems anywhere in the house. It’s a great router and I’m really happy with my orbi.

We recently installed the Starlink satellite system for much fast speeds in a very rural area. However their router didn’t allow bridge or mesh systems to expand the reach. Easy to set up and with the app – like 15 minutes. Use the same name and password as before for your LAN and all your devices will be able to connect – although I had to use my Blink app to convince the cameras it was OK, I think because they’re on their own little subnet.
