Help ensure that your home is fully covered by high-speed wireless network access with the Orbi AX4200 Wireless Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear. This Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) mesh system includes a router and one satellite that are each designed with six high-powered antennas to provide up to 1800 Mb/s of bandwidth to connected devices through the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, covering up to 5000 square feet. A dedicated 5 GHz connection allows the Orbi router and satellite to transfer data to each other at up to 2400 Mb/s. In total, that’s about 4x the speed of 802.11ac, delivering smooth 4K video streaming and online gaming experiences. The router has three Gigabit Ethernet ports, while the satellite has two, allowing you to connect wired devices such as smart TVs, game consoles, computers, and more. Use the Orbi app to quickly configure and manage the devices, including setting up a guest network login. You can also use Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to issue voice commands.

Have had this system up and going for about 2weeks at the time of this review and so far it is great. The only downside I have had is not everything mainly cameras connect seamlessly. I had to manually connect a few for some reason they would not see the network. The other issue is can’t take full advantage of the newer security because most devices aren’t compatible. So you will have to run older securities or upgrade your devices. This is the only reason for the 4 otherwise 5 all the way!

After putting uo with marginal WiFi for years, I switched to ORBI mesh WiFi when my old router stopped working. My home is 40 years old with original plaster walls. ORBI has made an incredible difference.My WiFi is now fast and reliable throughout the three floors in my home. No more rebuffering or slowed transmission. I would recommend ORBI to anyone who wants or needs better WiFi coverage.

Had a little difficulty setting up but think it had more to do with my level of comfort with SSID’s and passwords. Had to factory reset once to make it take. Had some problems with my ISP at the same time so that didn’t help

I bought this new mesh WIFI to get better WIFI in my large house with two stories and basement. We spent a lot of time installing ethernet cables in the rooms for the satellite units and have them plugged in which I thought would be the best it could be for their function. The system still drops out when I am in my office with a satellite in the office. The system does not work as well as the old CenturyLink modem/router worked on the first level of the house. It is disappointing.

We had the cable supplied router previously that did not have the range or speed that we were paying for. Once we set up the Orbi system, our speeds have increased throughout the house and the range has expanded to where we have no dead spots. This reaches well outside of of our house so we have fast speeds almost anywhere throughout our property. Would definitely recommend.
