Help ensure that your home is fully covered by high-speed wireless network access with the Orbi AX4200 Wireless Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear. This Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) mesh system includes a router and one satellite that are each designed with six high-powered antennas to provide up to 1800 Mb/s of bandwidth to connected devices through the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, covering up to 5000 square feet. A dedicated 5 GHz connection allows the Orbi router and satellite to transfer data to each other at up to 2400 Mb/s. In total, that’s about 4x the speed of 802.11ac, delivering smooth 4K video streaming and online gaming experiences. The router has three Gigabit Ethernet ports, while the satellite has two, allowing you to connect wired devices such as smart TVs, game consoles, computers, and more. Use the Orbi app to quickly configure and manage the devices, including setting up a guest network login. You can also use Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to issue voice commands.

My new Cable company sent me on a wild goose chase trying to figure out how to connect the Orbi, turns out they were the problem all along, the cable co had some setting wrong during the install. Once they sorted their own mess out the Orbi connnected immediately. Set up was a synch!

This system has lots of features. I connected the main on to my modem then connected the output to my hub the feeds all the rooms in my house. Then I connected the two satellites in rooms on different floors throught the wired connection. Now I have full signals at each orbi on three levels of my house and the wifi signal is great everywhere.

The Orbi system is easy to configure. The android app was quite useful. The software upgrade failed on satellite units. I need to power off and on again the satellite system to upgrade the software. The wifi speed is great.

Overall yes just as previous buyers have said it is pricey BUT very worth it. I have used several other brands and none have covered as the Orbi system is doing. The only issue comes from the provider and as of yet it has been because of a storm for loss of internet. The Orbi system pushes wifi throughout the entire house strong and with little to NO dead spots so yes very pleased with it and very glad I will be tak8ng it to our next home. Highly recommend for ease of instal and security setup as well as coverage, yes a bit pricey but worth it in the end. Great product so far!!
