Help ensure that your home is fully covered by high-speed wireless network access with the Orbi AX4200 Wireless Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear. This Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) mesh system includes a router and one satellite that are each designed with six high-powered antennas to provide up to 1800 Mb/s of bandwidth to connected devices through the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, covering up to 5000 square feet. A dedicated 5 GHz connection allows the Orbi router and satellite to transfer data to each other at up to 2400 Mb/s. In total, that’s about 4x the speed of 802.11ac, delivering smooth 4K video streaming and online gaming experiences. The router has three Gigabit Ethernet ports, while the satellite has two, allowing you to connect wired devices such as smart TVs, game consoles, computers, and more. Use the Orbi app to quickly configure and manage the devices, including setting up a guest network login. You can also use Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to issue voice commands.

The Orbi is VERY easy to set up with the app. It basically does everything for you. I’m getting great speeds all over the house with only one satellite. (2400 square feet over 2 floors, plus basement). I think people are overreacting to the “large” size of the units. They aren’t that big, really. Heard about problems with connection drops with this system, but so far so good here!

It seems to be a little weaker than my previous system and before I just had an older nighthawk router.. I am adding another satellite to my system even though the specs from NETGEAR say that it will cover a 5000 sqft home. With the new satellite it should cover a 7,500 sqft house and my home is only about 2,900 sqft.

Returned Eero Pro 6 because only got 200 MBS in the 2 units I used as Satellite in 4000 square foot home. Switching to the same rated Orbi device (ax4200) and playing all 3 units in same location as the Eero units, I now get 400 MBS throughout the house. I don’t have WiFi 6 enable devices, so I can’t test true WiFi 6 speed, but for most devices that don’t use this protocol yet, Orbi is the way to go.

I finally had to upgrade our whole mesh system, considering I was going to use my old Amplifi system in another house. I needed something that was affordable but fast enough to deal with gig fiber service and enough to cover 5k sq ft of house. The coverage has always been an issue (the previous system did ok but I had to spend additional money to expand it). Not so with the Orbi! After a thorough review, I decided on this and it works flawlessly. I welcome WiFi6 as some of my newer gadgets can finally enjoy the speed I am paying for. If you are looking for coverage and reliability, get an Orbi ASAP!

I bought the Orbi RBR750 to replace my old Linksys mesh system and I am very pleased. It took about 10 or 15 minutes to setup. My house is 4500 sq ft and the coverage is good everywhere including the driveway and backyard. I have wired networks hooked up to each satellite device and I am able stream video over the network with no lag. I also love the app. It gives me total control of the network. I chose the Orbi RBR753 over the Orbi RBR873 because my internet connection is only 500 mbps. I recommend the Orbi RBR753 to anyone looking for an easy to setup and low maintenance mesh system.
