Help ensure that your home is fully covered by high-speed wireless network access with the Orbi AX4200 Wireless Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear. This Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) mesh system includes a router and one satellite that are each designed with six high-powered antennas to provide up to 1800 Mb/s of bandwidth to connected devices through the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, covering up to 5000 square feet. A dedicated 5 GHz connection allows the Orbi router and satellite to transfer data to each other at up to 2400 Mb/s. In total, that’s about 4x the speed of 802.11ac, delivering smooth 4K video streaming and online gaming experiences. The router has three Gigabit Ethernet ports, while the satellite has two, allowing you to connect wired devices such as smart TVs, game consoles, computers, and more. Use the Orbi app to quickly configure and manage the devices, including setting up a guest network login. You can also use Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to issue voice commands.

Overall it seems to work quite well. The only real complaint i had was setting it up. For some reason i had to go through the process 3 times before it would allow me to complete it and connect to the internet. One of the satellites is used to stream on a tv in the basement which has some interference with a metal ceiling. A couple times I had a second or two of buffering otherwise you would never know it was streaming over wifi.

We invested in Orbi as our WiFi was not reliable. We have a house full of people with multiple devices in use almost every day. Since the installation we have not had any outages other than when we briefly lost power and the system did not reset itself. We were able to get it reconnected.

We had purchased a Google Home mesh system prior to the Orbi. The Google Home gave us nothing but trouble. The only thing we could rely on it consistently providing was inconsistent internet connections. It would lose connections multiple times a day. So I purchased the Orbi to see if it was my modem or the Google Home. Once I had the Orbi set it, which was as easy as making toast, it worked without interruptions. We have yet to lose an internet connection since installed over a week ago. Therefore the Google Home was returned and we have loved our Orbi ever since. Thank you Orbi!!!

I bought the rbk752 and extremely happy with it. It was easy to setup using the Orbi app and I had it up and running in about 15 mins or less. It updated itself and went online then updated the satellite. My 1g dl speed was showing over 950mb dl speeds. The main router covered my whole house so I moved the satellite to another building appr. 350 feet away and now I have WiFi access there also throughout the whole building there also. I never thought it would reach that far. This is the best router purchase I have ever made. It beats the heck out of my older nighthawk r7000 I was using the last few years. I am very happy I made this purchase so I bought a second one to install at my brother’s house for his family.
