Help ensure that your home is fully covered by high-speed wireless network access with the Orbi AX4200 Wireless Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear. This Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) mesh system includes a router and one satellite that are each designed with six high-powered antennas to provide up to 1800 Mb/s of bandwidth to connected devices through the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, covering up to 5000 square feet. A dedicated 5 GHz connection allows the Orbi router and satellite to transfer data to each other at up to 2400 Mb/s. In total, that’s about 4x the speed of 802.11ac, delivering smooth 4K video streaming and online gaming experiences. The router has three Gigabit Ethernet ports, while the satellite has two, allowing you to connect wired devices such as smart TVs, game consoles, computers, and more. Use the Orbi app to quickly configure and manage the devices, including setting up a guest network login. You can also use Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to issue voice commands.

I switched from an outdated Netgear router to the Orbi Mesh system. One satellite and router for 1800 sq ft area. So far I’m satisfied. The app is great and the range is great. I have 5-10 devices connected.

Given the price point of this system, I had some pretty high expectations. I can happily state that it works as advertised. It has enhanced Wi-Fi signal in my home tremendously. PS5 is plugged into one of the satellites and it has stopped all game lagging. Buy….you won’t be disappointed.

Wi-Fi performance is great with the base unit and 2 satellites – max bars throughout the house. Setup was unsuccessful using the iPhone app. I had to use my PC for setup to be successful, but the performance was worth the hassle.

This system has covered all dead spots in my home (5,000 Sq ft). Hopefully will give full coverage around the yard. Speed is great, set up was easy. One note though, the option to change the WiFi password on set up only appeared during the final phase when set up was in progress. That would be a good tip to lead with to avoid resetting 20 devices.

Easy set up of router and satellites. 7500 sq ft/3 story house has solid WiFi coverage throughout now. The Orbi app has an intuitive console for managing WiFi.

Wow! This system was worth every penny. Easy to set up and even easier to enjoy full gig speed internet. Devices connect quickly and the speed is almost too fast for the device to process. My smart home accessories work instantly and hue bulbs turn on and off with little to no lag. We have about 25 other devices and both my wife and I work from home with no issues if we both need to have meetings. Everything just works perfectly.

Honestly I tried many brands and types of mesh systems and nothing is better than Orbi. I tried eero 6, Google mesh 3 pack and always I have issues at home, getting disconnected all the time. Finally I found one mesh system that give me 200 mbps in the entire house and with no issues. The connection is very stable, no dead spots anymore and full and fast connection. It is expensive but worth it. The app is easy to use with some bugs but not a big deal.

Ditched cable internet for fiber. My older netgear router with extender was limiting below the speed I’m getting with fiber. Huge difference with the Orbi Wi-Fi 6 Tri-Band Mesh. Powerful whole home coverage and less degradation on speed at distances than my old setup. Sometimes I wish stationary devices throughout the house stayed on the satellite vs the main router, but that’s on the device and not Orbi. They remain fast regardless of what I think. Happy overall.

This system worked great for addressing the issue of range to reach farther into my backyard. It also helped with my occasionally dropped wifi. It was a little finicky to set up (hence the 4 instead of 5 star review) but once I got it set up, it seems to be working great. I would give this a 4.5 stars if I had the ability to.
