Help ensure that your home is fully covered by high-speed wireless network access with the Orbi AX4200 Wireless Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear. This Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) mesh system includes a router and one satellite that are each designed with six high-powered antennas to provide up to 1800 Mb/s of bandwidth to connected devices through the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, covering up to 5000 square feet. A dedicated 5 GHz connection allows the Orbi router and satellite to transfer data to each other at up to 2400 Mb/s. In total, that’s about 4x the speed of 802.11ac, delivering smooth 4K video streaming and online gaming experiences. The router has three Gigabit Ethernet ports, while the satellite has two, allowing you to connect wired devices such as smart TVs, game consoles, computers, and more. Use the Orbi app to quickly configure and manage the devices, including setting up a guest network login. You can also use Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to issue voice commands.

The router provided by my ISP was not powerful enough to spread the signal to the entire home. I decided to buy a Mesh system but went with a different brand at first and was pretty disappointed with the speed i was getting at the satellites. I was about to give up but searching for different options I saw the Orbi RBK752. I have 500Mbps upload and download. On my satellites I’m getting speeds of 400Mbps (way more than what I was expecting). I’m pretty happy with the Orbi and i would recommend it to anyone looking for a Mesh System.

Works great, setup was super easy for 5g devices. My 2.4g devices really struggled as it did not have a dedicated 2.4g SSID. Got them all squared away eventually but took more work than I was hoping.

Very pleased with system so far (2 weeks in). Required base plus 1 satellite for 4000 sqft house. Good consistent speeds. Unlike the TP Link it replaced, the Orbi did not come with free virus/monitoring but rather requires a paid subscription. Probably would have been a show stopper had I realized that before purchasing.

The Orbi seems to provide high wifi speeds even at long range and for a multi-level home. We wanted to ensure our backyard camera would have a good signal which is set up at the very back of our yard; and, the download speed near the camera is still 200mbps!
