Expand the reach of your existing Orbi Wi-Fi System with the Orbi Wireless AC3000 Satellite from Netgear. This Satellite device adds up to 2000 additional square feet to your wireless network and supports tri-band wireless connectivity along with support for 802.11a/g/b/n/ac Wi-Fi network standards.
Once configured, the Orbi Wi-Fi System provides comprehensive wireless network access and operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies supporting tri-band functionality to handle a greater number of connections. Additionally, the router and connected Satellite devices support the 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard and offer enhanced wireless data transfer rates of up to 3000 Mb/s. To further enhance wireless connections this Netgear Wi-Fi System utilizes both beamforming and MU-MIMO technologies to provide a more directed signal to multiple devices all at the same time.

I’ve been using the AC3000 with one Satellite extender BRS50 for several months. The setup was easy using the ORBI Netgear App on my iPad. I recently added a second extender and I needed additional help from support. Netgear support was very knowledgeable and patient and all went well. The Orbi Wi-Fi gives me my 350mbps on all 3 devices. Would purchase it again.

Well, what can I say, this is simply the best system I have ever used. From the incredibly easy setup and iPhone app and including day to day use. I’ve never had in home network speeds like this. My ISP provides about 230 M service and I see 150-220 to my devices throughout my home. My entire family has been VERY impressed with this system. Easily supporting all of our devices and streaming HD and 4K TV. Well worth the investment.

The setup looked more complicated than it was. I called to clarify some things and, instead, the tech walked me through the entire process. The Orbi linked itself to my system with no problem; my iPhone connects to it, rather than the WiFi I have, and I get far fewer Facetime pauses and dropped calls. I have a 3200 sq. ft. ranch, and I get equally good reception throughout.

One of the best upgrades to my network. I was having slow speeds and dropped internet in my 2500sq ft home. Speed Tests before install averaged 5mbps download and 10 mbps upload. After installing Orbi now running 112 mbps download and 15 mbps upload off Spectrum 100 MBPS system. Had a few hiccups with install and router finding satellite that required another reboot of my modem but is working like a champ now.

I am a professor and our university has moved to on-line classes. The students show up for class using Adobe Connect. They see me and hear me in real time and I see them and hear them in real time. I needed a faster internet speed to accommodate 15-20 students in class at one time. After much research, I decided to go with the Orbi system – one router and two satellites. I pay for 300 mbps speed and the Orbi system delivers. I went over 300 mbps wirelessly in the same room with the router and internet speed is great throughout our home. It is a bit pricey, but well worth the cost. B and H was fantastic – ordered on line and it arrived the next day. If you want fast service Orbi and B and H is the way to go!
