I had been using an Apple Airport Extreme for years until recently. I didn’t realize Apple stopped making the Airport Extreme and that made me explore other options. My Airport was outdated with older technology so I needed something newer. I did some extensive research for new wireless routers and I came across Orbi. Kept reading and reading reviews and always returned to Orbi. The size was a turn off but wow!! This net wifi setup has improved my home wifi great. Streaming is solid and the overall speed is solid too. Highly highly recommend Orbi. I wish I would have bought sooner!!

My home is 3600 sqft and I was only getting 50 mb download in my office which is upstairs. I pay for 200 mb because I run my business out of my home. After hours of research and a few trips to Best Buy I purchased the Orbi RBS50, it is EXPENSIVE for a router. I was thinking this is getting returned if I don’t see a huge jump in my internet speed. It took all of 10 minutes to get it configured and I was able to consistently get download speeds over 200 mb. Best Investment I have made in the past 5 years. MY office is upstairs on the opposite side of the house from, the router. Do yourself a favor and just go buy one you will not be disappointed. But don’t buy the Mini !!!!

Upgraded to the RBR50 and rbs50 sattelites. I can get better coverage with half of the sattelites. Great app as well.

Covers my 2100sf apartment. It was easy to set up, but I was worried I hadn’t done it properly- support was awesome and they walked me through a quick diagnosis, and patiently showed me how to use orbilogin and the app.

Excellent product that boosted my WIFI signal throughout my house so all my security worked better. The only issue is changing your network name and password. You require Support assistance the first time you do this. They then give you links to do it yourself, I think the option to change network names, etc, should be in the main App to be more user friendly.

We have a split level home with a walk out basement and never could get a strong signal downstairs. With the Orbi we have full strength no matter where we go! Awesome product.

Great product. It allowed me to avoid very expensive repeaters that were needed in our home with precast floors.

The coverage and incredible download speed for my household has sold me on the Orbi solution. I have at least 12 connected devices at anyone time and I do not detect any congestion or slow down since I upgraded my home WiFi to the Orbi. I highly recommend the Orbi,

I have never had good WIFI out in my shop which is a short distance from the house. I purchased the Netgear Orbi and one satellite for the house and my WIFI in the shop did improve but not by much. So I purchased another satellite (Netgear RBS50) and installed it in my office in the shop. And WOW what a difference, finally good WIFI all throughout the shop. Great product and I would recommend it to extend your WIFI coverage.

I replaced my first gen Nighthawk r7000 and repeater setup with Orbi. The Nighthawk in and of itself was an awesome router but a repeater is a repeater so it greatly hindered speed to the rest of my house. I don’t live in an area with modern sper higg speed

I needed to get a Wi-Fi signal to my garage for a new car I just purchased. My connection showed up in the car as available, but never was established. The Orbi signal was the only connection that was strong enough to establish a connection. I’m also getting 247Mbps in my office. That’s a nice added bonus.

I bought an RBR50 and RBS50 mesh wifi kit in October, and for the most part, I’ve been happy with it with the exception of some issues that I recently noticed. I set up an office in a room that was previously mostly unused and I noticed that WiFi didn’t work very well in there. Distance from either access point to the room is relatively short, so I wasn’t sure what was going on. I used a WiFi signal analyzer and found that 5GHz signal strength is very low in the room, which makes sense given the walls between the room and the access points. No problem, 2.4GHz signal strength is good. Wrong… The 2.4GHz signal strength frequently drops from ~70% to zero. I tested in close proximity to both the router and satellite and found the same issue. The 5GHz signal is always perfect, but 2.4 drops from 90% to 0 several times a minute. I want to put another satellite in that room to cover that area of the house, but I’m not sure I want to spend more money on a device that doesn’t work properly. This problem is compounded by the fact that both my wife and I are working from home and our VPN connections drop constantly in this room, but they work when we’re in range of 5GHz.
