Expand the reach of your existing Orbi Wi-Fi System with the Orbi Wireless AC3000 Satellite from Netgear. This Satellite device adds up to 2000 additional square feet to your wireless network and supports tri-band wireless connectivity along with support for 802.11a/g/b/n/ac Wi-Fi network standards.
Once configured, the Orbi Wi-Fi System provides comprehensive wireless network access and operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies supporting tri-band functionality to handle a greater number of connections. Additionally, the router and connected Satellite devices support the 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard and offer enhanced wireless data transfer rates of up to 3000 Mb/s. To further enhance wireless connections this Netgear Wi-Fi System utilizes both beamforming and MU-MIMO technologies to provide a more directed signal to multiple devices all at the same time.

Easy to set up, huge coverage area and extremely strong signal, I tried multiple systems to get through the walls not my house, and none of them came close to the Orbi.

So in roughly 2008 maybe 2009 I bought one base and two extenders. The Range on these things is amazing!! I have WiFi at the pool out back and even way out by the Pond, which to give you any idea is like three homes away. I don’t ever think about them because they never ever go down. My wife works from home and so do I most of the time, with two teenagers. They support many security cameras, my son’s online gaming, my daughter and her stuff, me constantly streaming YouTube as well as all of the regular TV all of which is via WiFi. Our provider is Spectrum supposed to be a Gig and we actually get around 500mbps. I highly recounted them.

I had just about given up hope of being able to utilize the full potential of 1 GB service that I’m receiving through Cox Communications here in Scottsdale. It seemed like every router I tried to use could never give me more than 100 to 200 MBPS through my WiFi connection. Since my house is set up to only be Wi-Fi based I was looking for other options that could increase my speed and I found it in the Orbi. I now enjoy speed’s throughout the house of up to 800 MBPS. I never have any streaming lagging or a reduction in my conductivity. I highly recommend the Orbi as a system to better cover large homes while also offering up to four ports for wiring various systems to the Internet . I considered the Linksys system but opted for the Orbi because of the increased number of available ports along with needing less ‘towers’ to provide effective coverage throughout my home.
