Expand the coverage of your Orbi Pro Router with the Orbi Pro AC3000 Wireless Tri-Band Gigabit Add-On Satellite Access Point from NETGEAR. This access point supports the 802.11ac network standard and operates a single 2.4 GHz frequency and dual 5 GHz frequencies offering maximum wireless data transfer rates of up to 3000 Mbps. In addition to wireless connectivity, clients can connect to any of the four Gigabit Ethernet ports for a reliable wired network connection.
Setup is simple. Just plug in the Orbi Satellite Access Point and it automatically connects to the nearby Orbi Pro Router. Once connected, this access point expands wireless coverage by up to 2,500 square feet while offering 3 Gbps AC Wi-Fi speeds. The Orbi Access Point even comes with wall- and ceiling-mount screws for easy installation.

Easy to connect when first set up just follow the step by step procedure and no problem including the software update. After 24 hrs connected with Motorola MB8600 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem, 6 Gbps Max Speed Cox Gigablast speed with total of 26 devices connected it disconnected to the internet and went offline reconnected it again no problem but some of my smart devices life camera and smart plug cannot connect so I have to manually connect them one by one. It was good for the next twelve hours and did it again goes off line.

First off let’s just say I had a net gear nighthawk ac3000 Tri band or something of the sort started to go on me recently. I knew it was time to upgrade ! I seen a good deal on a new gaming router and one below the best gaming router out currently and I set it up and was somewhat satisfied…. however next day I read about an Orbi! Then I’m at work I see something else so I look into it and wait what?!?!?!? A mesh satellite? Wait how the ? How much Square footage? Woah! I must see! So I order this Orbi and set it up and compare the both of them and I must say the Orbi is still here at my house! I was parked behind two trucks in front of my new house and I was connected to my Orbi! Hehe reason for the name OddBug well when we first got our Orbi Child me and my wife seen the given password was super funny which led to us naming our Orbi to OddBug because let’s face it it’s odd and bug like in a way haha but still loving my Orbi! Now that I have the orbi mesh network setup I have high-speed internet with no hiccups where ever I am in or out of the house. 2600 square foot 2 story home.
