Expand the coverage of your Orbi Pro Router with the Orbi Pro AC3000 Wireless Tri-Band Gigabit Add-On Satellite Access Point from NETGEAR. This access point supports the 802.11ac network standard and operates a single 2.4 GHz frequency and dual 5 GHz frequencies offering maximum wireless data transfer rates of up to 3000 Mbps. In addition to wireless connectivity, clients can connect to any of the four Gigabit Ethernet ports for a reliable wired network connection.
Setup is simple. Just plug in the Orbi Satellite Access Point and it automatically connects to the nearby Orbi Pro Router. Once connected, this access point expands wireless coverage by up to 2,500 square feet while offering 3 Gbps AC Wi-Fi speeds. The Orbi Access Point even comes with wall- and ceiling-mount screws for easy installation.

I used to have a Netgear Nighthawk router which initially was great. But then we got up to like 10 different devices connecting throughout the day or sometimes all at once but wasn’t getting strong connectivity. I was introduced to the Orbi mesh system and immediately made the investment to upgrade. Having the mesh system is so much better compared to a standard router in terms of connectivity, range, features, etc. I have noticed there is no more lag or other issues with all the devices being connected. I’m glad I purchased the Orbi.

I bought this to replace a 3-yr old Netgear router. My ISP provides a proprietary router that I hook up to. I was to connect their router to my computer, and the Orbi to their router. When I did that everything was fine but my Amazon Echos and my TV wouldn’t connect to the wi-fi, but my iPhones would. Finally I solved the problem – I connected the ISP router to Orbi and Orbi to my computer, and everything connected properly. It may just be something in the ISPs router and this doesn’t affect anyone else, as the rest of the setup was easy and flawless.
