Expand the coverage of your Orbi Pro Router with the Orbi Pro AC3000 Wireless Tri-Band Gigabit Add-On Satellite Access Point from NETGEAR. This access point supports the 802.11ac network standard and operates a single 2.4 GHz frequency and dual 5 GHz frequencies offering maximum wireless data transfer rates of up to 3000 Mbps. In addition to wireless connectivity, clients can connect to any of the four Gigabit Ethernet ports for a reliable wired network connection.
Setup is simple. Just plug in the Orbi Satellite Access Point and it automatically connects to the nearby Orbi Pro Router. Once connected, this access point expands wireless coverage by up to 2,500 square feet while offering 3 Gbps AC Wi-Fi speeds. The Orbi Access Point even comes with wall- and ceiling-mount screws for easy installation.

I would really like a bit more control over adding VLANS and other subnets. I know this is home router however, home users are becoming smarter and need more capabilities. The set up, however, was simply amazing. The speed and coverage is more than I anticipated. Love the product, well worth the money.

Using the app downloaded on my iPhone the set up of the system was easy. The hardest part is plugging in the cables. The system found and set up my two HomePods and there was not anything extra I had to do to make them work unlike my previous WiFi where I had to reset the HomePods to get to access the WiFi. I set up the satellite in my detached garage and now have fast WiFi all over my place. I recommend this product without any reservations.

I purchased the Netgear Orby PRO- router and Wi-Fi mesh was originally two satellites and one main router since then I have upgraded and added two more satellites one for Our barn and one for the shed/pool house. The pool house shed is a bit farther away from any of the other satlites and can fall off link but I found this outdoor unit to put in between and sets under the pergola outback roughly midway between the shed and the house about 120 feet and it connects and allows the back haul data and has not lost signal since. I have about 3.5 acres and I cover it all with wifi. And the air bridges with net gear and the insight management makes it super easy to set up and see what is happening. Even helps you track down people because their watch shows up on which satellite they are closes too. Overall I am super happy with my net gear set up we even purchased a 4 bay net gear NAS for cloud storage
