Expand the coverage of your Orbi Pro Router with the Orbi Pro AC3000 Wireless Tri-Band Gigabit Add-On Satellite Access Point from NETGEAR. This access point supports the 802.11ac network standard and operates a single 2.4 GHz frequency and dual 5 GHz frequencies offering maximum wireless data transfer rates of up to 3000 Mbps. In addition to wireless connectivity, clients can connect to any of the four Gigabit Ethernet ports for a reliable wired network connection.
Setup is simple. Just plug in the Orbi Satellite Access Point and it automatically connects to the nearby Orbi Pro Router. Once connected, this access point expands wireless coverage by up to 2,500 square feet while offering 3 Gbps AC Wi-Fi speeds. The Orbi Access Point even comes with wall- and ceiling-mount screws for easy installation.

I have a large house, two story, and have tried 7 different routers, range extenders, and power line WiFi to try and provide WiFi to my 27 connected devices. Setup took me less than 15 minutes, All of my devices connected without incident as well. I now have ONE network SSID, switching from 2.5-5 GHz as needed, and for the first time, NO dead spots in my house at all. This system is brilliant and bulletproof. I will be able to stay with this router for a long time. Do yourself a favor: don’t look around any longer….buy this one.

The Orbi system provides good coverage. My main complaint is with the app. It supposedly provides a function for monitoring individual devices on your Wi-Fi system but it never work. Firmware updates are also very difficult to get. There should be an easy way within the app to get updates or to get automatic updates.

This router is amazing! It’s super fast and covers the whole house. We get a strong signal everywhere, there are no slow spots. The second satellite unit makes a huge difference upstairs and we couldn’t be happier. The speed has increased by 4 times compared to the old router we had. We are very happy with the new Orbi!

Very easy setup. Speeds went from about 30mbps with my old Linksys router to 234mbps with Orbi. And no more dead zones inside or out! The app is also easy to use and allows me to see what devices are on the network and, if necessary, pause the connection to any of them. Very happy customer!

Setup went smooth. Unfortunately it was dropping packets alot. An MTR showed is was loosing 20%ish consistently. Pretty frustrating. Did an update and still made no difference. Tried just using the router, still same issue.
