Expand the coverage of your Orbi Pro Router with the Orbi Pro AC3000 Wireless Tri-Band Gigabit Add-On Satellite Access Point from NETGEAR. This access point supports the 802.11ac network standard and operates a single 2.4 GHz frequency and dual 5 GHz frequencies offering maximum wireless data transfer rates of up to 3000 Mbps. In addition to wireless connectivity, clients can connect to any of the four Gigabit Ethernet ports for a reliable wired network connection.
Setup is simple. Just plug in the Orbi Satellite Access Point and it automatically connects to the nearby Orbi Pro Router. Once connected, this access point expands wireless coverage by up to 2,500 square feet while offering 3 Gbps AC Wi-Fi speeds. The Orbi Access Point even comes with wall- and ceiling-mount screws for easy installation.

This is an amazing device. Earlier I was using Netgear C6900 which runs with cable and now I am using Fiber internet. So, I did some research on some devices on the market and finalized Orbi. After I started using the Orbi device my internet speed is so great and it gives me the same speed on every corner of the house 3000 sqft. I have 25 devices at home using Orbi. I recommend Orbi.

Bought ac3000 tri band. App wont let me update router. Keeps disconnecting saying wrong password. Also says connected without internet. Overall the router works great when it works except the problems I mentioned above which is very annoying when everything in my house runs off the internet.

Had some difficulty setting up system. Chose to change name to match existing wifi and it was an issue. After 3 or 4 tries I was able to get it corrected. Still not sure how to differentiate between 2.4 and 5 connections.

After a little set-up issues, which were in warranty and handled very easily by chat service support, the system is up and running perfectly. No wi-fi dead spots anywhere, even works outside. Was not sure the Orbi AC3000 would solve the weak signal issues in my 4500 SF house. The internet modem is located in the basement, in the furnace room. There is exposed ductwork directly above the location where the Orbi sets. I needed WiFi signal downstairs as well as upstairs, as we have various smart devices that are connected via WiFi (thermostats, tablets, phones, printers, TVs, etc.). In addition, we have an internet-enabled TV in the garage. Our house is ICF construction (i.e. concrete), so the signal to the garage can only go through the door between the house and the garage. I was hopeful that I could get a signal out there, but was not really expecting much. I am pleased to say that the WiFi signal throughout both floors of the house is equally strong no matter where you stand. In addition, the WiFi signal in the garage is the best we have ever had, and more than sufficient to stream video and music. Setup was quick and easy.
