Expand the coverage of your Orbi Pro Router with the Orbi Pro AC3000 Wireless Tri-Band Gigabit Add-On Satellite Access Point from NETGEAR. This access point supports the 802.11ac network standard and operates a single 2.4 GHz frequency and dual 5 GHz frequencies offering maximum wireless data transfer rates of up to 3000 Mbps. In addition to wireless connectivity, clients can connect to any of the four Gigabit Ethernet ports for a reliable wired network connection.
Setup is simple. Just plug in the Orbi Satellite Access Point and it automatically connects to the nearby Orbi Pro Router. Once connected, this access point expands wireless coverage by up to 2,500 square feet while offering 3 Gbps AC Wi-Fi speeds. The Orbi Access Point even comes with wall- and ceiling-mount screws for easy installation.

Orbi delivers; it was fairly easy to set up, only had one issue, but that’s because I was trying to do it too fast and was skipping steps, which there aren’t that many to begin with… I like the app, but wish the circle app was free to use instead of a monthly fee, which is my only complaint…

Ok so far so good! I was slightly hesitant about this system partly due to cost and partly because it came with only a base and one satellite. Previously we had a google mesh system which had 3. My techs brother recommended Orbi because of its coverage and speed. Gotta say I’m pretty blown away.

We started with T-P Link and it didn’t work well. Heard Spectrum was better so we tried that. It wasn’t until the Spectrum Technician who serviced my router suggested going with Netgear. We ordered it as soon as he had left and love it! It actually works!! There are features that none of the other two offered. Best advice to think it came from a technician who knows!

Deep down, I guess I always knew that there were better options, but I admit I was an Apple snob, choosing brand name allegiance over features. Anyway, it finally came time to switch, and Orbi has been a huge upgrade! Speeds have more than doubled on my WiFi network and the parental controls features are amazing (with Disney Circle membership). I’ve only owned my base + 1 satellite system for less than a month, but I can say that I’m happy so far!
