Add wireless connectivity to your home or office with the AC2000 Dual-Band 4×4 Wireless Access Point from Netgear. Equipped with three external antennas, the access point supports the Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) standard, and it comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports and a Gigabit Ethernet WAN port. A USB 2.0 Type-A port is ideal for connecting a storage drive, a printer, or another USB device to the network.
Multi-user MIMO technology allows for multiple simultaneous data streams, while beamforming lets the access point focus its Wi-Fi signals on nearby wireless devices. Airtime fairness helps to ensure that slower devices don’t cause network bottlenecks. You can place the access point on a desktop or mount it on a wall.

I just replaced my LinkSys device with the WAC124 and this is a much faster device and it is easier to setup and manage.

I bought this AP as replacement for my old Cisco E2000 with DD-WRT. Yes, there’s a huge generational gap between them and the 2.4/5Gb dual band/three SSIDs overcome my long time used router, but three years ago, trying to replace that router I had bought a WiFi extender (Netgear N600) of which I expected far more. Comparing WAC124 with that experience I found way better performance without silence peaks (streaming dropped, phone connected without internet signal) nor have any complains so far. This device can provide better setup than what I’m using now.

Great device, just wish it could re-broadcast the same SSID of the main NETGEAR Nighthawk that it’s connected to.

Got this working in just a few minutes and was an easy replacement for my previous Access Point

This was the easiest setup I ever done. I’m not a big tech guy but it is user friendly and the app to name all your devices is very nice and easy to work .

This unit was easy to set up and is loaded with so many nice features. With 3 virtual Wifi’s, you can set up a primary AP for users with full access to your network, and up to two additional APs that have limited or no access to your network. I set up a guess AP with its own paraphrase just for visitors. My primay AP also uses MAC filtering to give me ultimate security.

I have zero tech skills but needed wifi for my home business practice. I literally was able to plug this in, turn it on, and in less than 5 clicks have it working. The instructions were awesome and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Thank you for creating something for us less tech savvy folks can use without a headache.

Simply put I need a wifi access point with Ethernet ports as well. This checks all the boxes. I struggled setting it up however the netgear support made it a lot easier and I set it up

The Netgear WAC124 screams…super fast. One room over from where the access point is located, consistently getting 250 Mbps downstream. Wasn’t real pleased with my existing two units…bought this one and I’m very pleased.

When I first set it up there were some problems registering it, which seems to be required to get it working. However, once that was figured out, it is serving my needs quite well.

I needed a WAP for my out-building shed. This provides strong signal on both 2.4 and 5.2 bands from over 300 feet away! A great product for a modest price.

My neargear allows me to be able to educate and support our students and families during this most challenging times. Living in an apartment building that provides challenges for WIFI along with our entire family working and learning from home. Netgear is a game changer. Thank you

We purchased this router for use at a small business and it functions exactly as I hoped it would. It combines the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands under one name and assigns them automatically, and also has 3 separate networks it can create.
