I have been testing WiFi 6 AP from top brands like Cisco, Unifi, Linksys, and Netgear in the last few weeks and concluded that the WAX218 is the best so far, it is easy to set up, working great in the VLAN environment, improved speed up 3X compare to some of the AC1800 in the market. This is truly the AP that just keeps on staying up and running, during and after setup, I finally can stop my search and deploy this model to my production environment. Highly recommended, WiFi 6 AP above all other WiFi 6 AP currently on the market!

1. You can’t connect to the management interface without loosing internet access. 2. Management interface is only accessible through the CONFIG ONLY SSID. 3. You can’t make any changes to the AP without a reboot. 4. The SSH functionality is very limited. 5. NetGear still manages the management IP configuration, so basically every Network Admin who thinks they can leverage this AP in production will be a joker and will loose their job QUICK. I will give it to them, the product is great but no body has the time to be rebooting AP’s every time they need to manage it.

Great 4×4 WiFi 6 solution for small business. Connect both old and new devices with its support for WiFi 6 and legacy protocols. Performs as advertised!
