   I have to run an older MacBook pro with legacy software for work related projects. My apple battery would die in 20 minutes and I have not been able to find a reliable replacement. While in the city near B&H I remembered that they have nearly everything. Sure enough they had exactly what I needed and it works great. The charge lasts all day. I appreciate that they have always had the items I needed when I check with them and the service is friendly and knowledgeable too!

   I use the laptop for Music & Film work. This new battery has extended my ability to work remotely once again. So great to find product with reliability to keep existing work tools intact.    You cant beat NewerTech on price and compatibility. After recently discovering an old Mac laptop Id set aside, I found its battery would no longer take a charge. B&H had a great price on this replacement, so Ive been able to quickly get the laptop up and running again. Not really a complaint but, unlike Apples original, the NewerTech battery had a very tight fit so I had to work at seating it fully. Other than that, it matches and functions perfectly.

   My order arrived quickly and dealing with B&H is always a pleasure. This product, however, is very disappointing. I precisely followed the directions to fully charge and fully discharge the battery first for maximum performance, but despite this, the battery only holds a charge for about 2 hours. And that is brand new; I can only imagine how quickly the battery life is going to deteriorate. Apple no longer makes this battery, so I had to go with a third-party battery. It fits perfectly and looks very nice, but 2 hours of battery life at its best performance isn’t worth spending almost $. I would do some research and find another company that has better reviews and longer battery life.

   Got it for a mbp 2008, didn’t last much at all even when store as instructed and keeping it charged while using it. Avoid Newertech and get another brand.
