Glad to have the convenience of buying this battery through b&h. It’s a great battery.

It’s just a replacement battery for my late 2008 MacBook Pro. Not too much to say about it but that it came securely packaged and contained an online link to some useful information about how to keep it calibrated properly. Very satisfied.

Afraid of other brands for such an old laptop I felt it was a reputable manufacturer.

The old battery had around 180 cycles, it was lasting under two hours. the first time i charged and discharged the battery as per instructions it lasted almost 4 hours. since then it only lasts just over 2 hours. as it discharges when it gets to about 30% it discharges faster so I think I get about 2 hours at this point. not feeling like i received much value for my money.

Takes seconds to install. Reasonably priced. After two full charge cycles, the Mac claims it will get 3 hours, 20 minutes after a full charge. However, in just a few minutes, it’s already dropped from 100% to 96%, and now the Mac is claiming it will get just 2:46. But at the current usage rate, it might be as little as another 90 minutes. I was hoping to get a full four hours out of it as I believe this late 2008 MacBook Pro got when it was new.

Nice product, perfect fit. This is the same battery that us used by authorized Apple Repair Centers. Apple no longer offers the original battery.

Order shipped as stated and even arrived a day early. This was the best price that I found on the web and was one of the easiest transactions that I have made. Great Job!!!

Bought this replacement battery 7/14/17 and followed the install/initial charging directions. Performance was much better than the seven year old Apple battery it replaced at first. I have been using it to stream movies and it now is depleted in about 1.6 hrs of use; it lasts about 2 hrs when only using e-mail. It charges very slowly and takes forever to reach 100%. It has only 20.5 months of use and has become a point of aggravation on movie nite. 3/29/19.
