This seat is great for casual gaming if you don’t plan to sit for more than an hour or so. Setup was extremely easy. I installed a Thrustmaster RS300 and shifter with no problems. The seat easily folds up for storage to give you back some floor space too. If you do plan to play for extended periods, I recommend placing a small cushion on the seat or else your backside will start to hurt after a while. Overall, it was a great value for the money.

This cockpit is everything you need to start racing. Paris perfectly with a thrustmaster TMX pro. Comfortable for long gaming sessions. It folds down in a more compact manner but is a little too complex for doing on the daily or even weekly, I just fold the pedals up and the seat down and push it into the corner instead works well enough for my application.

Bought two for our Logitech G29s and GT7. Overall, very happy with the purchase. Very comfortable and portable. Too bad F1 22 doesn’t recognize the second wheel, though (only a hand-held controller). One item of note: It folds down much more compact when leaving the steering deck open while folding in the pedal deck.

As someone starting out in Sim racing, I needed something that would provide me with flexible but solid performance. This cockpit provides just that. I’ve seen several other foldable options online where people complain about frame wobble and an overall feel of less than sturdy. This NLR GT Lite does not suffer from those issues. Using a Fanatec CSL Elite, there are not issues with frame wobble, wheel base movement or anything. Everything is solid and secure. What keeps this from a 5 star? The seat is extremely wide. I’m an average build, average height guy. My back doesn’t touch the two centering pads on the back of the chair. The seat, it’s comfortable enough but it has an awkward feel to it, as if it’s a tad too tight to really let your bottom settle in. I find myself constantly readjusting my position in the seat. Assembly: Overall not too bad but I found the rear leg support to be the most difficult to attach. At first, it looked to be too wide for the chair itself. I had to force the rear leg frame into their connection points under the seat. Once that was in though, everything was fine.

I reallike the chair, takes a little bit to assemble and there are a couple of screw holes that don’t quite align, but overall it’s a good product. Folding design is great for tight apartments. This gives you good bang for your buck. Currently I have a T300rs mounted to it

I purchased this after researching it along with the Playseat Challenge. I knew going in that it wasn’t the most compact of the options which was unfortunate, but I liked that it sat higher (better for use at a desk), came with a proper shifter mount, had proper hard mounts for the pedals, and was a bit cheaper. Unfortunately, I knew really quickly it wasn’t for me once I got it assembled. First, it’s even bigger than I expected. I’m not a large person (5’8, 120lb), so the whole thing is bigger than necessary for me and means it’ll take more space to store than it needs to. I knew this going in, but it just feels oversized when I sit in it. Secondly, although it has a robust adjustment mechanisms, the fact that these need to be undone when folding it up is a pretty major drawback for a foldable cockpit. Here again, I knew it took a bit of effort to fold up, but once I experienced it I found it quite tedious and frustrating. Finally, the included shift mount was unusable for me. I plan to get the Fanatec shifter which is tall and bottom mounts to this mount, and the mount position means that the shifter would be far too high and forward to easily reach, let alone be comfortable. In the end I decided to return it and get the Playseat Challenge instead and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Yes, I’ll need to figure out a shifter mounting scheme for the Playseat, but aside from that it’s more comfortable, convenient and compact for me. Larger people may find the GTLite the better option, but for everyone else I’d suggest the Playseat Challenge instead.
