Let me count the ways I love thee…this blender is awesome! I had a blender I was happy with but we are smoothie-addicts so when I had the chance to get a Ninja, I jumped on it. I was curious if the higher price tag would be justified and YES, YES IT IS! While it’s pricier than the cheapy blender I had before, it’s no where near as expensive as that other brand (you know what I’m talking about) and having used the Ninja a ton, I can’t see why I’d ever pay for that other blender. The Ninja has an amazing capacity (2.1L) which is great because we are whipping up smoothies for the entire family in the morning. The pitcher is plastic which I initially wasn’t sold on (the other blender I had was glass) but now I love it. Much lighter and easier to pour, yet totally durable. I love that the measurements are marked on the side. Another thing I love–the tiered blender blades! My old blender I would be stopping to poke stuff down or kind of rocking it while I blended to try and move things down to the blender blades at the bottom. But with this one, there are blades all the way up so everything gets blended without me having to try and work it down. Plus, the blades slip out and it’s so easy to clean! I was forever trying to unscrew the bottom to clean my old one. The lid snaps on securely so that it seems safer and no fear of exploding smoothies. It also has a nice option to keep the top on and pour from a hinged spout which keeps things much neater.I love the the single serve smoothie cups. My old blender had this but you had to unscrew the big pitcher from the blades to use the blades on the single serve cup. This blender comes with a separate blade for the single serve cups, two cups and two travel lids. Like I said above, this is a cinch to clean because of the blades being so easily removed. The base is simple which I like for ease of use, look and ease of cleaning. And function? Blends up perfectly smooth, velvety concoctions every time. No lumps, no missed pieces. Whether you’re blending green smoothies or frozen margaritas (or some of each, life is all about balance), this is a great blender.

I made milkshakes last night and they came out so good! I made a big batch last night for the kids and added oreos. It tasted like it came straight from a restaurant! So good. I made one afterwards for me in the little container it was mint chocolate chip. It came out perfectly! It was a little harder because the ice cream stuck at the other side of the cup I had to hit it on the counter to get it to come down. But it came out perfect! It will make great smoothies and more shakes.

I bought this to make smoothies and baby food. The first time I put some hot baby food in to puree it cracked. To pay this much money and it instantly cracks is awful. Would recommend for smoothies but not hot food.

It is easy to work and your food it blended easily with the touch of a button. I love that I can buy frozen fruit and blend them as soon as I take them out of the freezer. Makes for a nice cold, healthy drink. Also easy to clean. This is definitely a plus in my household

Blades make quick work of frozen fruit and ice as other reviews indicated. Love the single serve cup blender option we use it all the time and the opening on it is big enough for a thick smoothie to come out easily when drinking. Use it in my car going to work all the time. Warning the motor does start to smell hot if you blend more than a few seconds of smoothie. Instructions warn about using pulse preferred – I can see why. Comes apart and cleans easier than our old one did. Very happy with it overall.

If you’ve ever had a lid come off while blending you will surely appreciate this feature.The Nutri Ninja Cups and single serve option are so handy for a quick smoothie to go!The base is smooth and easy to clean. Second Ninja. Overtime 1st plastic pitcher got a hole. Per reviews common issue. Replacement pitcher was $80; bought new blender. Works great. Pulse frozen fruit before increasing the power to mitigate cracks in pitcher. New feature, suction on bottom so blender doesn’t dance all over the counter.

The blender works great. I love being able to blend smoothies right in the cup, pop the lid on and off you go…. except for one fatal flaw. The lid does not close. It is just a big ol’ gaping hole that you drink out of. No flap you can snap shut, no sliding thing to cover the hole. Nothing. It is painful. And I’ll tell you why. I would like to send my kids to school with a smoothie every morning. Not in those cups! Just this morning, I was driving to work with my smoothie in my lunch kit on the passenger seat. Sure enough, I had to slam on the brakes and my lunch kit goes flying does a somersault and lands upside down on the floor. Smoothie everywhere. This is the second time. Please, for the love everything good, make a darn lid that closes for this particular model!!!!!

I love to blend up some milshjakes for the family and also make smoothies in the mornings for on the go and this ninja blender with the small blending cups really does come in handy.I lovet he single serve cups these work great to make my morning smoothies and be able to take them on the go just throw on the lids that come with the cups and out the door with my morning meal.The large blender part is great to blend up larger portions of stuff i love to do up some salsa, milkshakes the blades in the blender part and the cup[s are very sharp sio it chops stuff up quickly and blends together well.i love the large size of the large blender part it hold quit a bit which is great when i make large portion of stuff i am able to do it all at once. the blender part is very easy to remove and set onto the base which is really great the buttons are easy to push and stay on when using the large blender cup but when using to sinclge serve cup you will have to hold the button down while blending when using these.the unit itself is pretty quiet compared to other brands that i have used wich is really good the lid snaps in place on the large blnder piece and also has a apour spout in the lids to for easy pouring of liquid contents. overall i am pleased with this ninja clender/ cups
