I received this as a gift. I have mostly used it to make soups. For this task it works great! My only complaint is that it is a bit tough to clean but the cleaning cycle really helps with that once you get all the little chunks of food debris out of it. I like how you just set it and forget it as it handles the heating and blending as needed with its programming.

Ninja – Ninja® Foodi™ Cold & Hot Blender is a dream machine. The pitcher is non submersible, so be careful while washing, but that is a small price to pay for all this little powerhouse CAN do! I received this product for an honest review, heck I would have paid for this Ninja – Ninja® Foodi™ Cold & Hot Blender if I knew it existed prior to being able to test it.

If you say this blender doesn’t do much you obviously didn’t read the instructions on how to use it.You can sauté with no pan on the stove that you have to keep watch over. You can make soups, smooth or hearty at the push of a button and it keeps it warm up to an hour fryer it’s done. You can make jams NDA jellies, soups, whole meals prepared. Cold options offer fantastic ways to make smoothies, shakes, the works. This thing gives you so many different options in what you can make. You have to have some creativity, as any chef would, to use this to its full advantage. If you think you didn’t get enough for this price think again. This is far from the most useless blender. This is the most USEFUL kitchen equipment I have ever had and it definitely makes me want to buy more Foodi products. The design is absolutely beautiful as well. I would love to see more accessories for this blender. Also make sure you do as the directions say to the T. There is a reason you don’t fill it past the line me a reason things have to be cut up into 1 inch pieces. I made hot chocolate last night to get a feel for it. IT CLEANS ITSELF! That was one of the coolest things. It’s so cool. I’m from Louisiana and will be making a small batch of gumbo with this blender. From what I have observed so far, it should make one just fine and I’m excited to bring some Cajun recipes to this thing.

I really like this blender, it does all the things I’ve asked from it so far. It is annoying because I find the jar VERY heavy as it has the heating element in it. The blender base itself is really nice and light though. I also find it a little nerve-racking to try and keep the jar dry while washing!If you’re definitely going to use it to make warm foods, I’m sure it’s great. If you think you might only use it for warm things occasionally, I don’t think it’s worth it. Too heavy and too worrisome about the wet jar base.

I was looking for a new blender after my original ninja blender I bought about 10 years ago got a cracked pitcher and started to leak. I wanted something that could blend as well as a vitamix but had a glass pitcher to avoid the pitcher cracking. I wasn’t intending on getting another ninja as the one before still left smoothies with small chunks. After seeing the reviews on the Foodi and that people were saying that it blended as well as a vitamix, I took the chance. The price was really good, and it wasn’t much more than the ninja I bought before. The smoothies are cafe quality and got even spinach down smooth. I love the clean function and the added bonus of doing cooking in the blender. So far, I’ve used it to make pasta sauce with tomatoes from my garden, and it was super easy, especially with the saute function that chops the garlic and onion for you.

I bought the hot / cold blender and finally got to use it. We made Tomato Basil soup for lunch and blueberry vanilla icecream. Both were amazing. Fast and easy. I had all ingredients on hand so no specialty ingredients. Love the clean cycle as well. Made enough of both for family of 4 adults.

I use to struggle so much with cheap blenders, breaking and buying breaking and buying. So eventually decided to invest in the blendtec, which I loved and it lasted for years. This time wanted to get something a little bit more cost friendly and WOW. The Ninja works the same if not BETTER than the blendtec at a 4th the cost. I have the Ninja Foodi which I love, I got rid of an Instapot, a rice cooker, a crock pot, a bread maker and an old fashioned pressure cooker. I love how great ribs come out!
