The Ninja 2 in 1 cooker is the best slow cooker we’ve ever owned. The nicest feature of this cooker is that it has a cooktop function which allows you to sear your meats and veggies and then you can cook everything using the slow cooker function. You can do all this in one pot which means less dishes and less cleanup. Another great feature is that when the cook function time is up it automatically switches to the warming function. As an added bonus this cooker comes with two high temperature mitts for removing the inner pot when it is hot. As always another great product from Ninja.

“This Ninja 2-in-1 Slow Cooker lets you sear and slow cook all in one, easy-to-clean pot.” This is my favorite feature. I can cook the meat, onions and peppers in the pot as if it was a frying pan and when they are done, I can add my big blocks of cheese and in no time at all, my queso is ready for watching the big game on Sunday. The best part of this slow cooker is that it lets you put it on “low” cook and it will sit there, NOT BURNING your queso for up to 12 hours. I have only let it sit for 5, but the instructions say 12.Very important. Treat the interior with care. Do not use metal utensils. The will scratch the interior.

Great slow cooker for someone who isn’t fond of doing dishes. When this Ninja slow cooker first arrived I thought to myself, I BBQ but I am never on planning on being the chef in the house. I made a deal with my wife years ago, if you cook you clean up your mess so I built the kitchen but I DO NOT like to clean dishes especially extra ones. This slow cooker not only works well but takes it to the next level. It allows you first sear your meats before throwing the rest of the ingredients in. It comes with a nice set of pot holders too so you do not have to search for any. The timer is accurate and turns me into a person that actually now can make a real meal without just relying on the microwave. When the kids came over they were surprised that dad actually made the dinner and it came out perfect. Also the crocks material seems very easy to clean afterwards. Happy meal with a happy ending. RC

The big difference here is this eliminates the need to sear your food in a different pan before slow cooking. Instead of the ceramic insert this one is non stick aluminum. I like to make stews and chilis which meant searing the meat in a separate pan first. With this unit everything cooks in the same pot. The heating element is on the bottom which means the sides stay cool. It’s very simple to use. I actually made a pot of stew before bothering to read the instructions. After the time is over it switches to keep warm mode. Glass lid. It won’t rattle when cooking on high. comes with a set of heat proof mittens that look like penguin beaks. Very useful actually. To see how it compares to my older crock pots I filled it half full with water and let it sit for 1 hour at each of the settings and here is what I found. Lid on:slow low 175 Fslow high 210 Fkeep warm 160Lid off:slow low 140slow high 158keep warm 125Using the lid makes a big difference. Removing it can help with lower temps for serving hot apple cider or mulled wine or a huge batch of hot dip or spreads for the big game. Only one concern I have is the lid has a hole in it. This means it will lose a bit more liquid than you may be used to. Not a big deal. just adjust your recipe a bit to compensate.

This is a great slow cooker. It is much lighter weight than the ceramic style ones. What I particularly like is the fact that I can adjust the temperature. On our old slow cooker, it had high and low and keep-warm. Even on low it would be boiling the food. This one doesn’t have that problem. We cooked a pork roast in it the other night and it came out great.

Nice looking dual slow cooker. You can saute’ vegetables and brown meats in the cooker then add your meal. I chose to make a pot of black eyed peas. I browned some bacon cooker, added some chopped onions to that, then started my black eyed peas over top. Set it on high and the peas were done in 3 hrs. Easy to read/set electronic timer, settings for low and high. Easy to remove and wash up Teflon lining. Nice see thru glass cover with steam vent. 6 quart capacity. At the end of the time setting, it will beep three times and then go into warm mode. Kept warm until you are ready to enjoy. Love the simplicity! Approx measurements 15 wide without handles, 19 with, and approx. 12 inches tall.

This slow cooker is so much better than my previous one which had a ceramic liner pot which was heavy. This one is not. I love that you can sear meats in the pot first before slow cooking. You can sautee veggies also. Saves on cleaning one less pot. And the cleaning of this is easy. I’ve only cooked a pot roast so far but it came out great. it has a timer you set and it shows how much time is left. A nice little cookbook is included. Will have to try some soups in the fall.

The first time I used it I tried the 12 hour setting. I wanted to see if the slow cooker would actually switch to warm and yes it did. This slow cooker is easy to use and everything works great.

I love this slow cooker! This one is especially great. I am a very busy person and this is so easy to use. It does everything for ya. I’ve cooked several meals in it and it all turns out great. It’s so easy to use that my 10 year old granddaughter tried it. It’s a good size and doesn’t take up that much room. My daughter has already requested one for Christmas.
