I bought this compact cooker for the purpose of using it in my RV. I started testing the recipes at home and I am very pleased with the ease of preparing food in this cooker. last night we cooked a whole chicken using the instructions in the manual and it turned out great! The meat was juicy and tender, my husband was very happy. Clean up is also very easy, the main pot and crisper basket can go into the dishwasher. I am glad I took a chance and purchased this cooker and looking forward to using it on RV trips.

This is my first pressure cooker, so I watched quite a few instructional videos before using it. Turns out, I really didn’t need to. This cooker is simple to use by just following along with the instructions and the front panel. I’ve made a few different meals and all have turned out perfectly and so fast! Beef stew is a favorite meal, but that usually takes forever on the stove. In this pressure cooker, it took no time at all, and the meat was so much more tender than I’ve ever made before.The additional air fryer is such an amazing way to make french fries, cheese sticks, onion rings, or whatever fried food you love the most. I’ve use it for fries and they come crispy on the outside and fluffy soft on the inside. Delicious!I wasn’t sure what to expect from a pressure cooker, and truly was not sure it was something I’d use often. Turns out, I haven’t put it away once. I’ve decided to just leave it on the counter, since I’m using it so many times for so many different meals. If you’re thinking about a pressure cooker and would love the addition of an air fryer, this is one I highly recommend.

I got the Ninja Compact Pressure Cooker 4 days ago. So far it’s been an excellent choice, especially for a single male. I cooked ribs, shrimps and beef using the pressure cooker and then the air frying mode and the results were excellent. My only question is: when will SharkNinja release accessories for this model?

I received my Shark Ninja Foodi 5-qt 6 in 1 about two weeks ago and have barely used my stove or oven since! Between the pressure cooker and the air fryer options I am in love! It is super easy to use with simple instructions for all use! I do recommend reading them before use. I made the best whole chicken using the recipe in their recipe book they provided. It was so tender on the instant so crispy on the put! Best whole chicken I have EVER made! Highly recommend to anyone especially if you want fast delicious meals!

Overall I like the features and it’s easy to use. However, ‘compact’ lead me to think it would be a reasonable size. It isn’t. I don’t have a single cabinet it fits into. And it is sooo heavy. I have to carry it like a baby in my arms. For households with 1 or 2 people you need to create a smaller unit.

I love the Ninja Foodi 5 qt and would give it 5 stars if there were accessories or more recipes for this specific product. I bought this and love it but it isn’t intuitive to be able to adjust regular recipes to the smaller size. I would also like to have some of the accessories available for the larger unit.

We are eating healthier since my Purchase of my 8qt Ninja Foodi and I was so happy with it that 1 week later I bought the 5qt too. This shark-ninja foodie 6 in 1 compact pressure cookies and air fryer is absolutely amazing. This thing has allowed us to giveaway so many items we used on a daily bases to cook dinners and replaced them with just this 1. My sister has the 8qt version. I loved it. But, this size is perfect for a household of two. My one big suggestion is there really needs to have accessories to go with this model. I want to make one pot meals. Instead, I have to make one thing at a time. I can’t cook rice and steam broccoli with this model. I must say that until Ninja makes accessories for the Ninja Compact. I can not recommend this product 100%.

Ninja Foodi 5 qt. 6-in-1 Compact Pressure Cooker & Air Fryer is an amazing concept and a must have in any kitchen. I am very pleased with the performance of the Ninja foodi! It cooked a whole chicken in 25 mins and crisp the top in 15 minutes and was ready to eat. I never owned a pressure cooker nor air fryer but now I have to say I have been so pleased with it that I literally cook with it at least three times a week and so far all my dishes have been delicious. It comes with easy instructions, recipes booklet, do and dont’s, crisping lid, pressure lid, 5 qt ceramic pot that is nonstick, 3 qt ceramic coated crisp basket, and are PTEE- PFOA -free.

On page 8 of the included NinjaFoodie recipe & cooking guide is “Baked Macaroni & Cheese”. The recipe calls for 2 tablespoons of salt to be added with the cheese??? Being a long-time cook, I knew better but still added only 1 tablespoon of salt. Results: completely inedible and went into the trash! PLEASE EDIT YOUR RECIPES MORE CAREFULLY!

I bought this because it’s just my husband and I and the size sounded perfect. The recipe book is great but there’s not much more out there for recipes…….. Many books recommend the reversible rack but as far as I can tell it won’t work. Correct me if I am wrong?I also have tried several recipes from the provided book step by step and the cheese burns, chicken skin burns and the middles aren’t done. The lid also holds odor, even after being soaked.
