I received it very quickly. The original box/container was a bit beaten up but after checking each piece nothing appeared to be damaged . I opened immediately so i could chop up vegetables for my dark green salad. I added color with carrots celery orange red and yellow sweet peppers and cucumber. The electric chopper easily and quickly cut all of them in less than a minute and made for a fine addition to my salad. It took me much longer to get the vegetables out of refrigerator/washed up and put in container than pushing the button to start cutting them up. I really like Ninja products and this with its quick assembly and three size containers 16/40/and 48 oz is ideal for the preparation of many food dishes.

I have never used a product of this type and have only typically used blenders. The Ninja is quieter than the average blender and has only one speed. You can lightly chop by applying a pulse to the on/off button. It chops/blends extremely well and can puree very quickly much faster than a typical blender. It can’t be said enough that these blades are extremely sharp and should be handled with care. The blades are distributed throughout the length of a blade set chopping evenly throughout the containers. The containers have a removable rubber base. The container tends to glide across the counter while the motor is engaged and held lightly. The rubber base probably serves to suppress noise more than it prevents slipping.There are three different sized containers and two storage lids. One lid is for the two larger storage/chopping containers. The other lid is for the smaller storage/chopping container. More than likely for safety reasons the storage lids will not seal properly when the blades are present. The bases are wide so they shouldn’t tip easily. Safety:The splash guards only fit a certain way so there is a little added time in lining them up. The motor only fits one way and will not engage unless attached to the splash guards and container. The instructions emphasize throughout the blades are extremely sharp and must be handled with caution. They can’t say it enough!Cleaning:The instructions indicate the containers and lids are dishwasher safe. It is recommended that lids should be placed on top rack only. The containers and splash guards have a lot of contours so it may be easier to clean in the dishwasher than by hand. The motor should never be immersed in water of course and the blades should be washed by hand. They are a little difficult to wash due to the number of blades on one blade set. They are extremely sharp! Extreme caution should be used when handling and washing the blades.Just a note: The product’s box received had extensive damaged and was shipped without any other packing. The product seemed ok which speaks to the packaging of the product and its protection.

have loved them since they were euro pro! the quad blades in one piece are great, use caution when cleaning. the interchangeable lids are great. The driving motor in the hand held is great, just press and watch it devour whatever you put in it!! this set is perfect for anyone, even beginners. It is a professional quality product and I have been able to eliminate other appliances with just using the Ninja set up. These are quick, easy to use, simple to store and rather durable!

No matter what size pitcher I use it seems food gets into the crevices in the lid and is next to impossible to remove so it gets washed down the drain. I understand the shape of the lid for the motor but the inside should be flat.

I make a mango juice, milk, blueberry, banana, and Greek yogurt smoothie with the 40oz. Pitcher almost every day. Easy to clean by filling half way with water and a dash of liquid detergent, secure the power pod, pulse a few seconds, rinse and your done. Love this small powerful kitchen appliance.

We received the Ninja Master Prep Professional blender today and started playing with it after dinner. We thought that chopping ice would be a good test and the results were interesting… The unit has lots of power and did an excellent job! The only complaint that I had is that the metal skin of the Master Pod is too smooth and is slippery. That’s why I only gave it 4 bars in the Quality rating. Look closely at the photo of the Master Pod and you can see that there is nothing to help you grip it. I liked having the different sized pitchers but my wife said that they took up too much storage space! The rubber base on the containers doesn’t slip, so I found the unit quite safe to operate. I’ve read that the unit tends to “walk” but I haven’t observed it moving. We’re looking forward to lots of cool “beverages” courtesy of this unit!
