Keep your CPU chilled out with the NH-D9L CPU Cooler from Noctua. Sporting a low-profile and 3 RU-compliant design, this dual-tower cooler features a single NF-A9 PWM fan and can support an additional user-installed fan. In addition to nickel-plated copper heatsink and pipes, this cooler boasts fan speeds of 400 to 2000 rpm at 22.8 dBA. In volume-critical applications, use the included low-noise adapter to lower the maximum fan speed to 1550 rpm, while also lowering noise to 16.3 dBA. The Noctua NH-D9L is compatible with Intel LGA 1200, 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 2011, 2011-v3, and 2066 sockets. AMD AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1, FM2, and FM2+ sockets are also supported, as are AM4 sockets from 2019 and later.

I have built over 20 systems with these heatsinks and they are rock solid. All my systems are used for video encoding/decoding so CPU cooling is critical. I would highly recommend any Noctua product.

This cooler works well and is easy to install, is pretty quiet, depending on CPU load.

Easily installed. Never did it before but had no issues whatsoever….

Needed a cooler with front to back cooling, with the option for bottom to top airflow that would fit in a small form factor case and still provide adequate cooling for a new 10+ core CPU. You can easily add another fan to the front or back to get more airflow and has plenty of heat pipes. The monitor makes more noise than the fan.

Quiet, compact and does its job for the i9 10850k.

Running this cooler in a 3U server — works like a charm! Temp has never risen above 45C under moderate load.
