Keep your processor chill with the NH-D9DX i4 3U CPU Cooler from Noctua. Designed for quiet airflow, this cooler features a single 92mm fan and aluminum radiator, as well as a nickel-plated copper heatsink and tubes. Users can install a second fan on the radiator using the included fan mounting clips, and the included NF-A9 PWM fan supplies up 46.44 CFM at 400 to 2000 rpm and 22.8 dBA. An included Low-Noise Adapter allows for even lower noise levels, up to 16.3 dBA, at the cost of a decreased max fan speed of 1550 rpm. This fan uses an SSO-bearing design and has a lifespan of more than 150,000 hours. The Noctua NH-D9DX i4 3U is 100% RAM compatible with Intel LGA 2011, 1366, and 1356 sockets, with no overhang or interference with memory slots. It’s also compatible with LGA 2066 slots, and LGA 1366 slots with a Xeon backplate.

I used this on a EVGA X299 Micro motherboard with a i9-1098XE processor and it definitely keeps the temperatures down, and it fit in my smaller case. So it works as advertised and fit perfectly on my board without any problems.

What’s to say it’s Noctua the name pretty much speaks for itself. Had trouble finding a cooler to fit my 3U Rack Server case this was perfect.
