Honest review. I’ve been looking for an everyday bag for years now and have never been able to find one that has everything. Well, this is pretty much THE bag. I’m so glad I purchased the second version without all the distracting reflective print on the front. I personally would prefer no “Nomatic” branding on the front, but I understand they need to advertise. This bag has all the bases covered. I can easily fit my Macbook, Wacom drawing tablet, hard drive, drawing pens, chargers, mouse, keyboard and all my other stuff I need for work. The design is sleek and the function is also there. So far I’ve only found a couple things I don’t like with this bag. The first is how easily it picks up dirt and scratches. So far they’re easy to get out with some light scrubbing and water, but I can see this material getting scratched while at the airport or someplace similar. The water bottle pocket, although designed with good intention, is pretty much useless. Unless you’re only carrying a standard size plastic water bottle. With the new trend of using reusable bottles most people are using 32 to 40 oz. vacuum insulated bottles and there’s no way these fit on the side. I bring a 40 oz. bottle filled with ice to work to have cold water all day and this will not fit. I had to buy a smaller 22 oz. bottle for travel in order for a bottle to actually fit in the tiny pocket. It would have been nice if they thought about making a bigger water bottle holder with the same magnet closure side pockets. Also, the rivets that keep the side handles in place are metal and slightly extended. I noticed some light surface scratches on my bottle from inserting and removing from the small water bottle pocket. Other than that, this is the sleekest most functional bag I’ve ever used.

It is hard to utilize Internal spaces because it is smaller than explained through video of Nomatic. It is hard to hide slip of backpack to back side. It is somewhat firm to hide.

I love it my previous bag did not have pockets so I had to put everything in the main pocket and it was very messed up now I have a pocket for everything and when I see an empty pocket it means that I forgot the item of that pocket

Nomatic has a lifetime warranty and to their credit they’ve replaced 2 backpacks that failed in the exact same place (zipper rounding the top corner). However this 3rd version changed the design in ways I don’t care for. The interior divider is no longer attached via velcro so it can’t be removed. That was a nice feature when traveling as I could empty my electronics and use it as a day bag for an excursion. Also, the fabric changed a little, feels cheaper and I liked the patterns on the old fabric.

I gifted this to my business travelling spouse and he loved it. It had space for everything for his business trips and daily work needs. the backpack is very sturdy and durable, however, for the second time, the front zippers (where the NOMATIC emblem is), split on both sides where it curves and emptied the contents. The design, features and functionality are unmatched. The zipper function and durability needs to be addressed.

In general this backpack is awesome. Great size and great layout. I appreciate the waterproofing and it has already saved my ***. That said, the zippers are really hard to zip, especially around the corners. I’m waiting to see if they break in a bit with use, but very hard to open and close the exterior compartments.
