The overall quality of product is good. It would be nice if main compartment tablet pockets was detachable. Sometimes it is a little too small for my everyday needs. If I had a second chance I would choose the travel backpack. Need some time to get used to all the pockets.

After my last backpack fell apart, I went on the hunt for a new one. After long 4 month search I came across NOMATIC. There bag was clearly the ehighest quality, and fit everything I needed. But I will say the best part of this bundle and my new favorite item was the wallet. Small and compact, but fits everything I need and more. Definitely a full 5 star rating.

Let me start by saying I LOVE Nomatic. Funded the first kickstarter, and have owned the 40L Travel Bag, 30L Travel Bag, Messenger Bag and this Backpack. Due to a job change that causes me to travel a LOT, I sold everything for rolling Briggs & Riley (before Nomatic came out with their own roller luggage, which I surely would have purchased had it been an option at the time). This backpack has traveled with me all across the globe, but relatively early on it started showing signs of wear. One of the three zippers to the main compartment came apart after a few weeks. No worries – there’s three of them, so I can still use the other two to open and seal it. Aside from that, the right side magnetic water bottle holder doesn’t stay shut. It has a VERY light magnetic hold and then just releases. There’s also some wear on the bag itself – presumably from whatever is under the seat on airplanes – but that showed a bit quicker than other products I’ve used. Lastly, the chest strap constantly detaches and the sunglasses lid constantly falls off. Overall, I highly recommend Nomatic products. Great company, great service anytime I’ve needed it. But I couldn’t recommend this bag. Final Note: I got this bag very early on, and after watching some new videos it looks like they have made some improvements already. So perhaps the newer ones for sale are better – and if all these amazing reviews below me are any indication, it looks like an incredible bag.

Overall, great bag. But a few big issues for me. First is that the space to fit a suitcase handle is too small so it doesn’t work with my suitcase! Second quam is that when it sits sideways in “suitcase mode” there should be a simple side pocket for easy access to passports and tickets. Last issue is that the retractable keychain can only be put on the left pocket. They could have easily made it so you can put it on the other side too. When I wear a backpack with one strap, I put it on my left arm, then swing it around so I can use my right hand to grab stuff (such as a key). Other than that the bag seems great so far but I only just got it yesterday.

most functional back back i’ve ever had. as advertised, it’s perfect for a couple of days. you definitely need to plan what to wear on the plane (bulkier stuff), but all of the pockets and compartments are sized perfectly. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

I have a bit of backpack/EDC obsession. At present, I own eight backpack/EDC/weekenders. Three of which are Nomadic. I’ve sold or given away twice that amount in the last 4 years. I love having good organization in my bags (and coats). Whenever I ask my wife to get something out of my bag (whichever one I am using that day for that purpose), she always complains that “there are too many pockets! How do you ever find anything?” Well the Nomadic backpack is so well designed, even she agrees that the pockets and compartments are well designed, easy to access and easy to know where to go. This has space for everything, and best of all it looks great! My current search for a new bag was based around the fact that I wanted two well designed, large (but unobtrusive) water bottle holders – one for my electrolyte water and one for my Encha matcha latte. This met that criteria, in spades. Stealthy pockets on both sides, that tuck away magnetically when you don’t use them or can be used for other stash, like cable or power organizers. And the rest of the bag’s organization is so well designed and makes you look like a productivity ninja. I didn’t think I would like the “briefcase” handle and the tick away straps, but that is my preferred mode of transport now. If you are looking for a great edc backpack, that looks as cool as it carries, Get This Bag!

I love it. It is easy to travel with, I can load up the void space with clothes for a day trip, or pack it full of necesities for my son. The recommendation i would make is figure out a way to have the backpack shoulder straps connect to each other when using it on a roller bag. Thanks! Jon

I love this backpack. It’s very obvious that there was a lot of thought put into the design. As a matter of constructive criticism, I think my only (very small) gripe has to do with the angle that the zippers are placed with the main compartment. Can be a bit tough to open at the top of the backpack. But seriously, this backpack is amazing.

The bag was marketed to DJ’s but 12″ records do not fit in the bag. Also the zippers on the bag are not smooth. Debated on returning the bag but love the look of it. Just wish it was a bit more functional for me
