The overall quality isn’t bad but some of the feature changes from the first one are just purely thought out. I was disappointed when I received the first backpack when it came out years ago when it was missing the feature that made the backpack stand up but the bag in general was great. Because of the durability and features I decided to give this new one a try. I read how they used YKK zippers on this new one which that’s the main thing that stopped working on my last one. Almost all of the zippers broke. After getting the new bag the zippers are definitely different but I wouldn’t say better. They are more “sticky” and have less which means the nice key feature that allows you to put a key on an extracting line is pointless because you have to completely unzip the entire bag in order to get to the key. The old bag had four zippers so you could quickly access the interior of the bag from anywhere but not anymore. There’s also two less mesh pockets on the very front inside of the bag and the inside back pocket no longer has the interchangeable Velcro pockets. Overall it they may have improved the quality of the zippers but changed lots of other features that make it not worth it.

Great compartmentalization but the uber black color makes it not ready for sunny weather, it attracts all the rays in the sky and makes the inside very, very warm.

This bag really is amazing in so many ways. I carry two laptops, a notebook, file folders, a charging block, cords, earbuds, pens, keys, sunglasses, masks, gloves, a mini tripod, an action camera, travel wallet, lighters, flashlight, 2 phones, and a hydroflask. Everything has its place and is instantly accessible. Amazing product.
