Can I just say how much I love this backpack. I am a 5’5″ gentleman, who has come to the realization that simplifying my life is essential. This backpack is not a minimalist backpack but an essentialist backpack. I feel that it was not constructed with the minset to edit just for editing sake, but rather a thoughtful process to what is essential. From the quality of construct and material, I feel like I can put this down on the ground and wipe it down if there is concerns of nasty things on the floor. The shape is areodynamic like, where seeing people punch and kick their backpack into submission under a plane seat is not a problem for this backpack, it slides under as if there were wheels or butter on it. The functionality of all the comparments inside is quite shocking when you just look at it from the outside. I am at a convention and I fit in comfortably my wireless noise-canceling headset (with its case), Ipad Pro, Ipad mini, journal, hard book, magazine, all the cords that come with it, and to top it off, my light hooded jacked with out changing the shape of the backpack. My Yeti water bottle fits perfectly on the side and love how the water bottle holder slides back to it’s slim feature when I pull out the bottle. The weight of all the belongs is not noticeable. Of course I love a good deal, so when I saw the deal of this backpack, journal (I love journaling) and the wallet, it made complete sense. I really love this company. I have purchased their 30L travel bag when I was in Europe this summer, and was the best. I bought my wife the planner, and has reduced her stress by organizing her life intentionally. I view Nomatic as a life-style company rather than a “bag” company. I wouldn’t mind spending this amount of money for my middle school and elementary school age children, the only fear I would have is if they lost it or if it was stolen. In the end, the practice of being intentional and evaluating what is essential is something that I think this company does super well.

I love this backpack it’s extremely slick looking, highly functional, and very comfortable. The only thing I would change would be the retractable key in a more convenient spot.
Morgan Huel (verified owner) –
It’s comfortable and sleek. I like that the bottom is heavier so it stands up (most of the time) and it’s super comfortable even with a lot of stuff in it.

Backpack is great. Very durable and great design. The size is a little smaller than I should have ordered. I can’t put nearly as much in it as I wish.

Awesome backpack for the urban biker. Couldn’t have a better bag.

Outstanding build quality and the organisation of the bag is second-to-none.

I purchased one of these bags back in the Kickstarter days. Hands down, the best work backpack I have ever owned. I am not a Tumi guy, so I can’t compare to luxury brands. I travel extensively and I have used this bag every day for over two years and looks like new. Very well thought out pockets, with a place for all the items a typical business traveler will take. Fits underneath the seat on airplane. Goes over the handle on the roller luggage. Great to see a new company create some great products.

Extremely well-designed backpack. Very comfortable, and the water resistant design adds significantly to its high quality feel. The compartments and pockets are very thoughtfully designed, and extremely well organized. This backpack is perfect for my everyday use commuting to my office.

Very classy looking backpack. Aesthetically pleasing. My main concern is a design concern. You have not way to secure the main compartment unless you purchase additional locks to secure the two additional zippers. I bought two TSA wirelocks and attempted to put through the zipper to no avail. I broke the zipper attempting to secure the locks. Very disappointing, as I will not use the backpack because of this design shortfall. Thanks!

Extremely nice design. Materials could have been better. And make zipper is a struggle around the curves.

I’ve had this backpack for a couple years now and I still love it. I drive and fly frequently for work (2-3 days a week 3-4 weeks a month) and every backpack I bought just became a bucket of junk after a while, and all the “organization pouches” tended to compete for space with each other. My Nomatic back pack has kept me organized and the pouches are places perfectly so none of the pouches actually compete with each other for space once you use them. As I travel my coworkers and customers see the bag and they always ask what it is. I had to add clip on zipper pulls to mine so I know which one is mine when I’m around coworkers since 3 of them ended up buying the bag after me. Great product!
