This really is a great backpack and does what it says on the box but with two significant downsides: (1) its too heavy, if you’re big and strong it’s probably fine but if you’re small and less so then this thing is just adding too much dead weight, maybe ok if you’re just commuting in a train but not if you need to walk quite far with it; (2) The finish is not very nice, it looks like a laptop bag from the 90s, very male American businessman, black and plasticey, not at all European hipster, other providers have much nicer fabric outsides in different colours…

Love the backpack. You can pack a lot of stuff. Ive used a lot of high end ones and this one can compete! My only problem is it lacked luster. I think it can be improved .

Was torn between this and messenger bag, but this is a great bag, super versatile for work and weekends.

I got my Nomatic Backpack and Travelpack about one and a half years ago. I have used the Backpack for daily work and travel ever since. I use the Travelpack occasionally. Overall my experience is great in terms of use and comfort. It is what I expected, what was advertised. Well thought and useful, it is by far the best designed backpack I have had. Until one month ago my rating was 5 stars. If I rate it with just 2 stars it is because it is not as durable as I expected. While I thought I would wore it out over the course of 5 to 10 years, after less than 2 the two bigger zippers (main compartment and main pocket) started to tear in the top left and right corners. The zipper teeth (coil) is sewn to waterproof material and in those areas the stitches to the main body of the bag (the teeth on the laps are still tightly sewn) broke. Now it is hard to close the zipper and, as the tears are now between 4 and 7 cm (and growing), the bag always has open gaps. Admittedly, these are the places where maximum strain is put on the zippers, as you are pulling them upwards and then sideways, but I expected higher quality materials for the price. The Backpack is not cheap and I clearly expected to be more durable, as advertised. Considering my present disappointment, I now wonder if I did the right thing endorsing the Nomatic Roller Luggage project.

What an amazing backpack! Unpackaged and used it the day it arrived. Have used it in the snow and rain with no issues. I carry my laptop, tablet, notebook, supplies, camera and 3 lenses as well as filters, sd cards and batteries. This bag has a pocket for EVERYTHING!!! I have since ordered the 40L bag as well. Thanks Nomatic!

I’m a carry nerd. I’ve bought several backpacks and this is my favorite EDC bag for work so far. I take a laptop everywhere I go. I’m a gear junky so I always have stuff with me whether for work or a hobby and I need a pack that can do the following things most importantly: 1 – carry laptop and associated electronic gear with it 2 – have a place for a small amount of paperwork 3 – keep things organized This pack does those 3 things well. The things I like about it: – good construction. Feels like a quality product, looks nice. More professional than most packs – handles and shoulder straps are awesome, very comfortable to carry – organization is outstanding – the bag for being relatively shallow does stand up well compared to many others that fall easily even when leaning The things that keep it from 5 stars aren’t a big deal but include: – I’m not a fan of the large logo. I just prefer things to be more subtle. I feel like its a flex and is not the best way to enjoy the benefit of being able to afford nicer things – the zippers are a bit stiff, but this bag is new so we’ll see how that loosens over time. I do like the quality they have in keeping the rain out-that’s already been of benefit more than once in my Texas climate – the top pocket should be a little deeper. It will hold a phone or glasses well, but not both without risking scratching. If it was deeper or if there was another fabric divider inside, it would hold both well. That’s far more appealing than the glass case on the inside of the main compartment – I think it would be nice to have a small pocket on the shoulder straps large enough to stash air pods or other small ear buds or cash/cards for quick access. More convenient than the hidden pocket in the back. – there is a seam on the front of the pack just above the nomadic logo. This would be an ideal place for a small stuff pocket on the outside. One extra pocket there on the outside could be pretty handy, especially if it was a magnetic one for quick access for putting something in on the go – the velcro flap over the tablet pocket is annoying. I know it’s designed to keep papers and tablets in place especially when carrying it on the side rather than as a backpack, but I’m not sure it does that well and it gets more in the way than it is helpful. I’m debating just cutting it off. Also, I’d expect more than velcro from a quality product. A latch like peak designs is more secure and long-lasting – more colors would be a nice option instead of just black Overall, it’s a quality pack that I’d recommend as an EDC for work especially if you’re more tech inclined than paperwork/book in your typical daily load.

Great Bag! Have yet to travel with it but it’s very well organized and super clean looking. So far so good!

Every part of the bag is very well thought out. The only issue is with the outside material. It has the same appearance of fake leather according to numerous co workers. It looks as if it will show a scratch very easily. Time will tell

I been watching the progression of Nomatic products and I finally decided to make a purchase. I cant believe I waited this long. I have had many backpacks to travel with, commute or just use as a work bag. This is hands down the best backpack I have ever purchased. Awesome qualities and very thoughtfully laid out for convenience.

Honestly this is as good as i expected. Super awesome bag. The one thing i dont love about it is that it seems like maybe my bag had gotten a little squished in shipping and the very top part of the zipper on the main compartment is a little hard to zip because it seems to be just a little bit bent or slightly warped.

This backpack is everything I could ever want/need in a backpack! Unfortunately I had to return it because like many other companies, it just feels like they’re sized for men and was too big on me. For reference I’m a petite frame at 5’1. The width was fine enough to manage, but the height made it too large for me. All the compartments were perfect! Just enough space for everything I would need on a daily commute (electronics, books/flies, change of clothes including a pair of shoes) or even as a personal item on a flight. Very well made and designed. I’d say it’s perfection for anyone taller than me. If it was just a few inches shorter I would have totally kept it. Hoping they make a tad shorter version of this exact backpack. (Fingers crossed)

Genuinely feel this is a superior backpack, I did a lot of research on this and I work in tech and take a lot of tech with me when travelling etc and can’t wait to use it on my next trip.

Amazing. The attention to details is what make it.
